Yes!!!! Omg, have a long shift at the bakery, starting tonight at 2 a.m. these new GOT reactions are gonna give me something positive to focus on while I'm ruining my back and feet, so that people can have fresh bread, doughnuts, and croissants!

Petty Pumpkins

Pretty sure if you look closely at Wes is this thumbnail you feel observe him getting ready to scream the words "Fuck you" to that damn Night King! 🙈

Petty Pumpkins

Valeria Ras

I have yet to replace the fake lashes i cried off laughing so hard when Chey said "and you just know he has a buttplug in" talking about the diva night king riding the ice dragon.

* 1:15:00 * EXACTLY!!!!!! That's why this is MY FAVORITE episode of the entire series!! Spoiler ................. And Brans last words to Theon...ALWAYS make me ugly cry! IDC what anyone says, Theon earned his redemption.

Jennifer Z

I zoomed forward to The Scene™️ so fast just to watch that first and then started this episode from the beginning 😂 TEAM ARYA FOREVERRR

Crystal

Watching this live was soooo stressful lol but what I’ve been waiting for is the last two episodes reaction. I’m DYING to see your reaction to that and hear your thoughts

Stephanie Ella

*Spoiler* . . . . . . Arya is the MVP of this episode. 😁🏆 That kill was EVERYTHING!!!!

The battle tactics in this episode are so bad. Its flashy, so I get why people like it, but for experienced soldiers and commanders, it just flat out makes zero sense, and is fucking dumb as well. You'd think with all the money the show made, they could have hired a battle strategist so this shit made sense.

Libs

So practically alllll the bros on the internet were pissed that Arya killed the Night King instead of Jon, but imo that makes zero sense. Jon spent the past 7.2 seasons organizing and leading—we barely saw him take on challenging combat…Whereas Arya spent 7 seasons SOLELY preparing and training to be an elite assassin—including two seasons training w the Faceless Men (said to be the most skilled and deadly assassins in the world), and one season training with Brienne—who won every fight against the “best” knights in Westeros, only time we didn’t see her win was tying w Arya…Arya was always the one!!

Gillian Hadland

I’m not a bro and I hated that the writers chose to have Arya kill the Night King. Even if they decided not to have Jon be the one, I would have preferred a good fight scene with Jon and the Night King and maybe had the final kill assisted by either Theon or even Jaime Lannister (bringing his Kingslayer reputation full circle but into something seen as noble and good), leading to either of their deaths in the process. But it happened the way it did and I’m happy for anyone who loved it :) If anything, I think Arya spent all 7 seasons solely preparing to be an elite assassin in order to kill everyone on her list, and that her final challenge would be finally getting revenge on Cersei, which would have been fantastic and a very fitting end for her character’s journey.

I think cause it’s so dark it doesn’t give you the full emotions of what’s happening but also I don’t care that Jon didn’t kill night king like that’s not my problem hahaah my problem with the season comes in the later episodes and people who know will know but let’s be honest the show should of been called house of stark then game of thrones cause my problem is that it’s always about them and tbh I don’t really care for house stark besides Arya and Jon and bran and Sansa especially bran I hate like sorry cool you see visions but your still useless like I’m sorry your are and like the most easy to kill like so when things happen later that jsut pisses me off like it’s just all about them and tbh I don’t care for them

K

I hated how this season turned out so much this is my first time watching these episodes since the night they aired. I just need the last 2 books to wrap it up differently. if they ever get published.

K

The downfall of the season begins here. The prophecy in the books is the Night King will be killed by the "Prince who was promised" which has always been assumed to be Jon or Danaerys since the theory is also that the Night King is a Targaryen. Targaryens are the only ones who are fire proof and dragon riders. That why the first first indication of Jon's parentage was Rheagal kneeling for Jon to touch him. That was him claiming Jon as his rider. This was a great episode in terms of tension and drama but in terms of the larger story that we as viewers have been invested in it all goes to shit from here.

K

That's because Jon's character has been neutered since he came back from the dead. Who saved him at the Battle of Bastards? Sansa. Who saved him at The Wall? Daenerys. Who killed the Night King? Arya. In the book that have been published Jon is still dead. Everything after season 5 is all the creation of the showrunners who were working from an outline given to them by George R.R. Martin who doesn't even know how he wants to finish the books. The producers made Jon weak and made Tyrion stupid.

K

Watching it like had me shaking the entire episode. It was so stressful. When Dany lit that mfkr up and he just grinned......BIIIIIITCH! I thought that was it.

☆ n e s s y ☆

my theory is that man is never going to finish the series OR he has finished it all but it won't be released until his death

☆ n e s s y ☆

i kept standing up - sitting wasn't something my body could do for whatever reason when this aired live

☆ n e s s y ☆

spoilers for anyone who hasn't finished this season yet stop reading- there is a scene i can't remember when it occurs in the show - young cersei goes with a couple young friends to see their version of a fortune teller....she tells cersei all her children will die & in the books she tells her she will die at the hands of her younger brother....she always assumed tyrion obviously but i was so hoping for arya to wear jamie's face & get her kill she's been hard up for since the beginning....but alas i guess the show writers didn't vibe with that idea hence leaving out that specific part of the prophecy. booooo tomatoes!! that would have much better than being crushed embracing jamie....which for her was about as happy as an ending cersei could get

K

I think it will be after his death because he's seen the reaction to the series end and doesnt want to live with the potential of that happening with his books. But he really hated the producers of the show. He removed himself from being involved in it. He could've fed them some bs on how he intended to end the books and then write something completely different. We all know there's only 2 acceptable people that should end up on the throne. It's not that hard to get there and still have the same level of complex drama and backstabbing.

SPOILERS the blade arya used to kill the night king is the same one littlefinger sent with the assassin to kill bran under the guise it was ordered by the lannisters in S1-she had some blues eyes to shut forever💕💕💕oh we love to see it 🙌🏻

Lara

im not done with the episode but can't wait to hear what you think of this one. At the time, people were bitching about the lighting... the memes were EVERYWHERE...

Kaitie Michelle

This season of this show is how I know I’m just easily entertained because I did not think anything bad until I saw other peoples opinions 😭

Chrissy

I liked that Arya killed the Night King, I think im definitely in the minority. It just rang true to me. John was the strategist. Planned how to commence into battle. Arya had for 6+ seasons been training to hone her skills to fight and become a killer, an assassin. Since she was a child, she said herself, she was never meant to be a Lady. For me, this point on is where it just went to WTF?

Gloria Hernon

This episode was so so good! Yes, dark, too dark, strange, intense, the music....superb 🎼🎶🎶all the things. I do think Jon (Kit Harrington), got screwed by D&D, showrunners/sometimes writers, by not letting him be the one to kill The Night King. I mean, so many of us wanted to see a sword fight between them. Arya doing it I think was a little poetic but still. The deaths, omg, so sad, cried so much 😭😭 Watching Arya do her thing IMHO, was one of the best things. Jamie & Brienne fighting together....epic! So many great moments!! That little girl with the greyscale reminded Ser Davos of Princess Shareen. What do we say to the god of death.....not today MOFO🙅🏽‍♀️🗡⚔️

Amanda Caroline

John is still a Stark, only his mother was a stark, so he doesnt technically have the last name, but hes half Stark half Targaryan :)

Mark

I like that Arya killed the night king I just wish she had used the face of one of the zombies to sneak up on him, as would’ve fully circled her story around

snallahej

You guys had me cracking up in between my yelling, “f…u, Bran!” I swear, that kid. 🤦‍♀️

snallahej

This is what I thought would happen when I watched years ago!

snallahej

Theon’s death broke me. And cemented my hatred for Mr. Visions. He didn’t have to let him go out like that. 😭😭😭

candle

I don’t recall the books specifically stating “kill the night king”, more so the prince is the one to unite the realm against the darkness, which is what Jon did.

Hanna

I wonder if it's just all these new smart TVs / new technology or what because I have an old vizio non smart TV.. refused to get one I loathe the soap opera effect & not tech savvy... still have it, anyway.. I could see fine so wonder why so many was dark lol

Hanna

Exactly still crazy how people seem to miss that. He united everyone. Also she only was fire proof the one time in the book, nobody else has been fireproof of them, that was a 1 special moment

Whitney Miller

Arya is THAT bitch!!! I've loved her since ep1 as well. My favorites have always been Arya, Brienne, and Tyrione.

Whitney Miller

One of my favorite subtle things about Greyworm is the Unsullied aren't scared of anything. But you can see the fear on Greyworm's face with the thought of never seeing Missandei again. It's so beautiful.

Love10 ❤️

Omg lmao a fruit roll up 😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄 🤣 😂 😆 😄 🤣 my god lol 😆

Hahahaha "Bitch no, no one is rising up..." 🤣 😂 🤪 😆

Yall should watch the inside the making of this episode!!! It’s about an hour long but it’s sooo good!!!

chihuahua in a cone

The fact that so many people hated that Arya was the one to finally kill the Night King always confused me so much, because she honestly makes the MOST sense out of everyone to have done it! Jon Snow is a master swordsman, but the Night King isn't ever going to let him actually 1v1 him! Because why would he?! He can just raise undead armies to fight for him. So, Arya ambushing him like the master assassin that she is, felt perfect to me!

Traci McMurray

This is the episode I will remember the most. It tore me in all kinds of ways. I put off spoilers and didn't watch this episode for DAYS because I didn't want to say goodbye to characters I had grown to love. The anxiety you mention, it is so real when watching this. To the point that I would highly recommend at least re-watching this episode, because it's worth a re-watch without being afraid of who is alive and dead as it's all going down. But then, at the end of the episode, I felt so torn. I had prepared to lose quite a few of the main characters. Like how could we not? Did you see the size of this un-dead army of Night Walkers and giants and a dragon of their own?!?! Oh, and he can just raise all the dead you just killed, so in effect, you will fight this until you die and become one of them. Like those odds are ridiculous. And yet so many characters lived!?!? How did they survive that? So many of them looked surrounded and certainly about to die? It felt like the writers took an easy way out and didn't kill off many of the main characters. Maybe they weren't ready to say good-bye either. So, I used this analogy--this episode is knowing the reality that you should have a nutritious meal for dinner (against these odds, many of these characters should have died), but damn, did that Whataburger with large fries and drink taste soooooo gooooood (meaning, I'm not sad I still get to see these characters). Hope that made sense.

Traci McMurray

And Bran was sure to just turn around and give it to Arya because he knew it was going to be used in this way. Amazing full-circle moment, I agree.

fkajackiebrown

babygirl arya did that. 🤏🏽🤏🏽🤏🏽

Violet

"Theon, you're a good man." It's breaks my heart every single time. He TRULY deserved a redemption arc!

Miss Torres9

Ghost going up to the front line 😭 GOOD BOY GHOST 🤍

This was the episode that made me realize reaction videos were a thing back in the day, watching compilations of people reacting to Arya.

The Dreammweaver

I appreciate how they consistently showed the hound having PTSD with fire and the smell of flesh burning. Fleeing the battle of blackwater bay, scared of a flaming sword, not letting Arya cauterize a wound, turning away when they burned the fire priest that died beyond the wall, and here having a panic attack and shutting down. Idk I have PTSD so I guess it means something to me to have this badass tough guy character suffer with the same thing.
