Ive been waiting for this! I love how they paralleled Cates choices from last season and Maries in this episode. Marie became a hypocrite who essentially did exactly what Cate did last season. Use their powers against their friends thinking it was protecting them. Thinking they are doing what’s right but in reality is wrong. Marie healing Godolkin is going to create a massacre just like the last season finale. If she only healed Cate, Cate would’ve known and probably stopped Marie from healing him. Marie annoyed me just as bad as Cate did last season! They all need to realize they work better as a team!

I will say that as stupid and wreckless as Marie was she healed Godolkin thinking she was going to stop the mass killings of innocent people. Cate released those in The Woods to go out and kill innocent people.

Exactly Marie was trying to stop the mass killing of supes by ignoring her friends and using her powers against and doing what she thought was best. The same way Cate was trying to stop the mass killing and torture of supes last season while using her powers against her friends and ignoring what they say too. Cate was told she was very powerful, marie was told she was very powerful. The show made them mirror each other on purpose. This episode really focused on it. I like that it shows them both having this savior complex.
