⚔️ We’ve officially reentered the world of GAME OF THRONES with A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS 🏰✨It's a scrappy, campy little Westeros adventure that includes treks, tourneys, tons of trouble, and our two, new-favorite underdogs trying to survive the realm we've grown to love 👑🔥🗡️

In episode five, "In the Name of the Mother" Dunk's past comes back around to meet him as he faces The Trial of Seven. This bloody battle had us baffled and totally beside ourselves, but served as an epic penultimate episode 🩸

Not me absolutely falling In love with Dunk this episode 😭

Violet

I'm not happy. I was SO EXCITED for a new episode and then we get THIS!!! Not cool.

Kira

Aerion might be an asshole, but he is THEE fighter, he wiped the floor with Dunk. The only thing that saved him is plot armor😭

I really preferred this battle to the ones in GOT, because those felt impersonal and with the exception of Oberyn no one we cared about died or got gravely injured—which took away from the grief inherent in war. This was beautifully and painfully done and had a lot of heart, just like the rest of this show ♥️.

Aerion is not that guy, Dunk is just an amateur and can't take on any trained high-born fighters. He also only had chainmail, not a full suit of armour. Aerion is a bitch. Dunk survived because Aerion yielded due to being afraid to die. Dunk had nothing to lose, so kept going. That isn't plot armour. You put Aerion with Jaime Lannister, The Hound, Khal Drogo, Robert Baratheon and he's got no chance in hell. Ned is average and could probably take Aerion.

I also felt sick at the end, you're not alone

Nah not plot armor, it's like the Hound says, 'I'm a big fucker and I'm hard to kill.' he is a decendant of Dunc after all

Took me forever to finally watch this but I'm enjoying watching it with you two!
