🍽️ We're sitting down for the final course of the Anthony Hopkins Hannibal Trilogy in this first time watch of RED DRAGON. This savory dish pleasantly surprised us with its iconic ensemble and rich atmosphere of dread and monstrosities. Certainly a dish we licked clean... and not just because Will Graham is back, but because it was scrumptious... what type of meat was this again? 🥂🍝🤌🏻

Wow, you guys are posting so much amazing content for us, it's about to be midterm week for me so this is a reaction video that's going to distract me from being stress over school work 😄😌

Selina

Team Manhunter over here.

Selina

Also, side note, South Park (of all things) has a pretty hilarious parody of the "do you see??!" scene.

That was excellent. I really enjoyed it. It was a first time watch for me. I'm going to be honest, it took me a beat to feel like Edward Norton was Will Graham just because I'm so in love with Hugh Dancy's version of Will. But I ended up being able to let that go and really enjoy the film. Loved Ralph Fiennes as Dolarhyde and Harvey Keitel as Jack.

Corpius

hannibal rising is alright, you get to see more about how he turns into a cannibal

Chad Moore

I would love to see y'all react to Manhunter. It stars one of my long lists of dream daddies, William Petersen.

Violet

That episode is HILARIOUS!

I agree that Hannibal is the weakest of the series even though I absolutely love it. Besides the directing, and the unfortunate recast, I attribute a lot of the more as you guys said campy choices to the fact that we are seeing Hannibal free for the first time. In the first movie he's been in captivity for a while so I think that definitely affected the way his character acted and spoke. In Hannibal he's been free doing his own thing he's more relaxed and calm which is why I think he's not as scary as he is in the first one and in this one. In Hannibal he's out and about living his fancy life, and I love that for him but it does make him less of a frightening character!

Dumile

A manhunter reaction would be great!

Tara M. Wilcoxon

Oh yes, please react to both Manhunter and Hannibal Rising!

Cecilia⁷

Yes, please watch Hanibal Rising!

Bruh why she grab the tiger's dick like that... as soon as she started petting it I remembered that happened and even as a kid i was like "wtf lady...."

Petty Pumpkins

yeah we did not catch that the first time but definitely noticed it while we were editing the reaction for YT lol. what in the world 😩

have you guys seen the tv series on netflix, Mindhunter with Jonathan Groff? David Fincher created this true crimey show and its fucking incredible. there is also a book. :) im still so gd bitter that it got canceled after 2 seasons. many many others feel the same way. but fincher is particular with his work (rightfully so), so it sort of doesnt surprise me that bob netflick canceled the show. i honestly dont know the real reason. there were talks of doing films with it. but anyway, if you havent watched, please dooooo. or watch a trailer first. i would once again live my best life.

Petty Pumpkins

we haven't seen it but very aware of it just from being long-time fans of JGroff!! have only ever heard the most amazing things!!!! and unsprprising that Netflix didn't know something great when they had it 🙄 definitely would be interested in checking it out sometime!!

fkajackiebrown

okay, good. As long as its present in the mind, I am totally good with that. These types of movies or series get me to push play the fastest and I just had to share that thought in hopes that itll eventually make the watch list. 😅 Jonathan groff is a whole dreamboat so that is just a bonus. I cant stand when great shows get canceled. This one and Lovecraft Country are my two that I continue to be devastated about. 😪

fkajackiebrown

thank you again for your hard work, btw! I know its a lot. 🖤

Petty Pumpkins

we will for sure at some point!! we wanted to take some time before Manhunter specifically because after watching the show and this movie back to back we were really not that interested in watching another interpretation of this story right away. but at some point we will!
