Winona movies... the very best one is MERMAIDS with Cher and Christina Ricci.

Jayne Fleming

For my Birthday - one of my favourite movie that had a profound impact on my life?! You shouldn’t have. ;) Love to you both!!

Jayne Fleming

Not necessarily a channel watch but for another Angelina Jolie Masterclass- you absolutely need to check out Gia. Heartbreaking, beautiful and just an absolute legend telling the story of an absolute icon.

Petty Pumpkins

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! hope you have the most amazing day/year! 🥰🎉

Oh! A couple of institution movies that are incredible. The Changeling with Angelina Jolie. Has some true crime elements. And One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest with Jack Nicholson. 😊 Thank you for this reaction! Definitely a banger film.

Chey, this was not appropriate for an 8 y/o.. but I too watched a lot of inappropriate movies when I was a kid. 🤣 I was a teenager when I watched "Lolita" (1997) for the first time and watched so many horror films when I was little that I regularly had nightmares/night terrors. 😫 As somebody who used to be married to a man with Bipolar, this film is a little triggering. He used to see demons dancing on the ceiling and thought that the people in the TV were talking to him. He once showed up at an ER proclaiming to be Jesus. 😳

Stephanie Ella

Wes, when Jared Leto shows on the screen "noooo, get him away". I cackled. 🤣

Stephanie Ella

Honestly, I feel like if somebody were as disruptive as Lisa IRL they would’ve housed her somewhere else.. they just kept letting her run away and cause mischief.

Rosie G

YES. YES YES YES YESSSSSS

Rosie G

Yes the book is definitely worth a read! It’s a memoir so very different from the movie- they had to change quite a bit to create a proper narrative. Haven’t read it in like 25 years but I remember it really touching me and feeling ultra relatable despite the time period.

Also Welcome Home Roxy Carmichael is excellent

Vanessa Flores

I would love for you guys to watch Mermaids.

Lauren D

Chey I also thought that was Lena Dunham 😂

Crystal

The way some of the clips just ring in my head lol like IM CALLING VALERIE! VALERIE! and “I’m playing the villain baby” and the iconic “And everybody knows, everybody knows, that he fucks you” like these are iconic sound bites. Also I love Ruby soo much, she’s such a good cat.

Jen Bee

I used to use that same pfp, love that image so much! And it’s the cartoon version of Lydia Deets, how appropriate 💀🪦🕸️👻☺️

Mia

Omg. One of my top 5.

Ashley Hayyynes

When I was diagnosed in 2020, it made sense why I always felt so seen and devastated watching Susanna. BPD is hard to describe to other people. Like Tinkerbell, only able to feel one emotion at a time, but having to feel it with every fiber of your being. It's exhausting, and Winona feels so much like she's gone through it, or seen it up close. This movie is one of my absolute most precious films in my collection. 💜

Kathleen

Winona Ryder's FACE. My god.

William Tanner

I love how they gasped every time he came onscreen. 😂

Stephanie Ella

Changeling is wild and based on: The real-life "Wineville Chicken Coop murders" case in California.

William Tanner

Such a special movie. I remember seeing it back in '99. I was 28 (Winona's age), and I felt a certain closeness to these girls. By the end, they felt like my crew. I think anyone who's ever felt like an outsider (or made to feel like one) can connect with this film. It was a joy to watch with you. ❤️

Eve Griffin

I think thats a good example and shows how mental health was mismanaged in the past and very misunderstood.
