🙏 You prayed this day would come and we're here to spread the gospel: this movie slaps! It's our first time watching SISTER ACT and we were acting UP! From lounge star to star witness, this crime thriller turns out to be a catholic character-cover-up comedy where Whoopi showed us the light, the notes and our new found family too, sisters indeed! 🎶⛪✝️

Hope yall are doing well!! Can’t wait to watch later today 💕💕

Repomanda22

My mom had the soundtrack to this movie on cassette and we would wear that baby OUT singing along in the car

Love10 ❤️

Looooooooove this movie 🎬 classic

Austin

Been waiting for this reaction! Love this movie so much!

Alexandre 🇫🇷🐉

Sister Act is the quintessential feel good movie, Whoopi is an incredible comedic actress and the wardrobe is so FRESH

Alex gallo

I nominate Corinna, Corinna (1994) as the next Whoopi watch. Who’s with me?

Selina

Hooray! I'm so excited for this!

Crystal

What a staple feel good movie. Sister Act 2 is better, and usually the one everyone talks about, but I love both.

Selina

The Hail Holy Queen choir moment changed my life.

Violet

Such a FUN choice!! I LOVE hanging out with y'all!

Lavender Violet

I am with you! It's so underrated! Wes and Chey would LOVE it!

Lavender Violet

I love this movie so much. I have seen it a crazy number of times, and it never gets old. More Whoopi recommendations would be Corrina, Corrina (also recommended by Alex gallo 😃) and Boys on the Side. Two amazing films.

William Tanner

More Whoopi-- "Corinna, Corinna", "The Color Purple", "Clara's Heart", "The Long Walk Home", "Boys on the Side". ❤️❤️

Violet

The nun who is 2 counts earlier than everyone else, is to me, the FUNNIEST part of this movie! "🎵🗣HAIL!" KILLS me every time!!

Petty Pumpkins

that's interesting because we both agreed we liked the first one better. but really enjoyed both of course!

Kristin Weiss

This is literally one of my most favorite movies of ALL TIME!! I had such a blast watching this with you, and can’t wait for Part 2!! It may even be better than the first! 🏆🏆🏆 For more Whoopi PLEASE watch The Color Purple… it is such a phenomenal film!! 💜💜💜

fkajackiebrown

i love sister act, but sister act 2?! i wore that vhs OUT.

Aaron J

LOVE that movie!

Aaron J

For another Whoopi "on the run" movie where she also plays a singer Boys on The Side is great!

Crystal

Oh wow! I think the music, Sheryl Lee Ralph’s “singing does not put food on the table” monologue and Lauren Hill add to the love of Sister Act 2. It’s more quotable too

Whitney Miller

CORRINA, CORRINA is a MUST WATCH Whoopi. Also, of course THE COLOR PURPLE !!! (Bring tissues!)

V. Smart

Love your videos!!! Please watch Jumpin’ Jack Flash! 😅😂 it will fit into your Spring/halloween theme! It’s a comedy/thriller! Can’t wait for Sister Act 2!! 💛

Candice Kimbrough

You HAVE to watch “THE COLOR PURPLE” just be prepared 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

Jillian Moody

Corinna Corinna! Loved that movie so much.

Robin Beatch

I thought of recommending that cause she's AMAZING and the film is incredible but it's so heavy and I don't know if I can relive it 😭 They should do it but get the damn tissues ready!!

Robin Beatch

Oh HELL yeah that's a great one!

Robin Beatch

Omg I forgot she was in that!! I haven't seen that since I was in my teens but I remember it being iconic

Robin Beatch

I love the second but the first is my fav

Violet

HAIL!

Robin Beatch

Watching this now as an adult (and former stripper) the scene in the beginning where they're performing for the worst audience EVER - is too relatable 🤣 Often the work was good but when you work a Tuesday afternoon that's pretty much what it is lololol

Robin Beatch

"This is what it's like living in America" - Chey at Sister Mary Clarence's prayer 🤣🤣 This bit reminds me of the dinner prayer scene in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Violet

Dogma is a great religious comedy!

Violet

🤣🤣🤣

CheshireKat528

Fantastic reaction to a fantastic film!!! I would love to see your reaction to “Jumping Jack Flash” from 1986, it’s an 80s Whoopi classic! Also if you want to see more Nun action, I suggest checking out “The Trouble With Angels” from 1966. You might a familiar Nun in this fun & delightful 60s comedy.

Petty Pumpkins

omg I (wes) actually grew up watching the trouble with angels! i love love love hayley mills, great movie!!

Steven Jump

Jumpin Jack Flash is a Whoopi must see comedy. Another one is Burglar . Clara's Heart is my fave drama that she has done.

M. Annytte Girard

BOGUS with Gerard DePardu, Haley Joel Osment and Whoopi is another one I like...

fire12wife

I did, too! Love it! The CD never left the changer!

fire12wife

I have seen the first one, but haven't watched it since! Now the second one is a whole different movie! It doesn't even feel like a sequel, except for Whoopi and the other nuns being in it... but there is nothing to connect the two stories! I love the second movie, I've watched it hundreds of times! It will always be one of my favorites!

fire12wife

"If you 'But Mama' me one more time... " 🤣🤣🤣
