So happy we got to see more of Alexa Demie this episode. The Rosalia cameo took me out. Hope we get to see more of her. I agree, I thought this episode was better than last week. You’re also so right about Nate and Jules. So far they feel the most different from the previous seasons. Not sure if it’s a performance thing or they are just being written that way. Feels a little disconnected to me.

This was a better episode but Nate is so different and it’s sitting weird with me. I absolutely love Angel. I could watch a whole season of her alone. She’s currently what’s keeping my interest in the show. I miss Labrinths music so much 😫

"She fires like a whore's asshole" means Sam is scamming us into watching his AO3 Tarantino porn yet again, bc he knows we want to see how the quality story from season 1 ends. Absolutely no way he doesn't know the fundamental rules of writing, yet the narration is telling us "Maddie introduced Kaitlin around town" right before showing Maddie introducing Kaitlin around town. OK so you can write, but you're adding shit in to break the essential rules to what...rage bait? prove you're not like the other girls? because you think we're idiots who don't understand what "Hi, this is Kaitlin" means? C'mon man. And sex work is just work, but it's interesting how 5/6 of the women leads (counting Barbie) ended up in sex work. HUH. p.s. sorry to fans. I do genuinely hope the quality goes back to what it was working in season 1 (yet another disgarded rule) and the brazen, consciously wasted potential pisses me off.
