Also, I totally got spoiled online… I was not happy about it

Laura❤️

I’m just glad it’s over lol Rue’s death wasn’t even that emotional. And now Jules is just stuck in the penthouse painting dicks for the rest of her life? Lexi is now reading the bible. The only part I enjoyed was Alamo dying but even that took way too long. Also Bishop taking out the bullets was awesome.

Emily Carmen

DJ Kat is SAT with her little tablet and I am snuggled with her to watch this finale with yall early this morning. Please give my senior gal kitty positive vibes as she has to have an echo this week and she had another vomiting episode. She really enjoys your commentary and I remembered the finale would be uploaded this morning and DJ Kat perked up when I just turned on The Petty Pumpkins. It is truly a comfort for her to watch along with me and it has become my go to for her after she got her Cernia and other medications and probiotics. She is such a sweet cat and to just see how much she enjoys watching you is so adorable and so sweet. It seriously is something she truly enjoys.! I know I have been sharing photos of her sometimes when she is enjoying your videos and movies but I just had to thank you both for getting this finale up so quickly. We both needed a distraction after a long night and yall always come through always at the perfect timing.❤️😻❤️🎃❤️😻❤️I have been a nervous wreck about DJ Kat and I just know yall understand the love of a kitty and she truly does love watching all of your videos. Please send her healthy vibes and again thank you for always being a super comforting place.❤️😻❤️🎃❤️😻❤️

I loved the finale and only shed a tear for Rue’s friends tbh.

Relo

I do like the season and this ep but sam def needs more writers cuz he focused so much off Maddy rue and Cassie he forgot about all the other storylines and hbo said there will be no s4 so no proper ending for Jules sadly. Also I don't think rues storyline was originally to die like that because in the episode bts sam said he chose this death to highlight the fent problem in the us which is how Angus died and he was originally a big part of s3. loved watching yalls reactions every week tho made the episodes better

Stephanie Ella

Rue was gonna go to prison so death was a better ending for her tbh.. she was so foolish that surely prison would’ve been a worse fate for her.

Laura❤️

Yeah it was definitely a fitting and realistic ending for her.

Stephanie Ella

Bishop chose Maddy over Alamo is what happened and I really enjoyed it.

Asami Ayla

Glad we're done. :D My only request before watching was: I want all the animals and Kitty safe (and Maddy and Ali maybe).

Emily Carmen

Whelp this so far HAS been a distraction but goodness so far this is VERY STRESSFUL!!!🙀😳🙀and now DJ Kat legit is YAWNING at that Bible monolog hahahahahahahahaha I agree we are HATING this finale too and even DJ KAT is like😾🙀😾she does not approve and give this a paws down and no beans up and the ONLY positive so far is we get to enjoy hearing yall talk about how this sucks so much hahahahahaha

ariel mermaid

I agree with you how rue past from murder and all rues friends seemed not to care other than Ali thankful they took out Alamo but I had 2 friends die from fentanyl one of them was in March like you said I wanted a little more positive things to happen some hope but I know this will be treated just like season 8 of game of thrones

(un?)fun fact: Trauma bonding actually means when a victim is bonded to their abuser, not when two people go through the same traumatic event

It took me a 2nd watch to really appreciate the episode more. I’ve had issues with some of the writing since season 2, so it’s not entirely new, but this was clearly something Sam made in response to death of Angus. The “dream” sequence with Rue is really beautiful on re watch. I understand people not loving Sam Levinson, but I’ll always appreciate him and the show for giving so many of these actors and artists a platform. And that the actors still choose to work with him for the most part gives me some faith. It’s also worth watching the behind the scenes after the episode. In the pilot, Rue makes a joke that she’s religious now and I think a lot of those themes this season have to do with how religion is commonly intertwined with recovery. Not a perfect season or finale by any means, but the show has always dealt with excess through the American lens and this season really only showed how much of a shit show it is here, so I appreciate some of the sentiment. Lots to think about.

Mercedes

Y’all’s commentary was spot on ! Thank you for your service of getting us through this show 😂😂 we could not have done it alone !

Offred84

The last part made me cry so hard. 😢 It breaks my heart.... she was never gonna survive

gloomygraveyardgirl

Thank god its over. Cause wtf was that. I hope Sam Levinson never picks up a pen again. This season was so trashy its actually unfathomable. Barbie really lucked out by leaving after season 2.

Mx. Nobody

Confused at Levinson's christianity propoganda. Lexi who had no storyline with her Bible revelation, Ali's pilgrimage to Rue's idea of the promiseland, and that wannabe last supper imagery with Rue at the head of the table saying goodbye did not hit in the feels like I'm sure he thought it would. Flop.

Libs

I realized on reflection that all of Ali and Rue's meetings since season 1--and especially this season--were never abt recovery and were just bible study. If you think back starting w season 1, the whole thing has been Christian, alt white propaganda. Good and evil exists and sex work is evil pizza gate ass shit, yet Sam used this and last season as his softcore porn set. He's writing racial slurs left and right and having Black people call each other VERY old school offensive terms from Jim Crow. But may god bless us all!

Mx. Nobody

The amount of "I'm a slave, yes massa, sit down you hard R monkey" dialougue from Alamo shows not one Black person was in the writer's room.

Libs

Luckily this was the series finale 🥳 (confirmed by HBO). It was alt white Christian propaganda all along. The show's happy ending was Ali praying for the audience w bigots bc that's what Sam is. I will say there were some good moments; every time there was zero dialogue or action (when Sam's writing was absent) and we just got to watch Coleman and Zendaya act. Also, Chey's faces during Lexi's Christian awakening monologue and the ending w the American flag, Wes' wince during 95% of the episode...💀. Y'alls infuriation vent at the end was so satisfying to watch and is 100000% on point.

Libs

@stephanie she wasn't going to go to prison. The DEA gave her immunity.

Libs

The Western theme was SO mf random and stupid. The concept of Ali getting vengeance was so satisfying until it got horrendously wasted. Sam just wanted to stroke his ego by making the last episode movie length but didn't have enough material to do it...he's such a little shit.

Libs

Thank you for sharing ❤️. You're very strong for doing that and the more awareness the better.

Emily Carmen

I LOVE how you put it Chey!!! YES Sam STEALS and I absolutely agree with every word yall said like what in the heck was that I am glad DJ Kat had her Cerenia cuz I was about to vomit at this awful God awful finale ugh🤢🤮🤢

Emily Carmen

SAME I was worried about the animals and birds

jstargirl

Idc, Ali’s prayer scene had me in TEARS. Ok but the American flag flying over the white Christian nationalist’s house had me cracking up! And im Christian myself! 😂 it very much gave “God bless Amerikkka!”

Petra

Am I tripping or did Maddy and Nate have no interaction this season???

Stephanie Ella

You might need to rewatch it because Alamo and his men were all in on swapping out the ambulances outside the hospital so Rue was NOT off the hook with the DEA. Once Alamo realized Rue was a rat he put the plan in motion (if not beforehand).

Andrea Nolan

What in the Trump Humping Republican Wet Dream White Anglo Saxon Protestant Gilead Glorifying Patriarchal Fucking HBO HELLSCAPE was THAT?!!!! I honestly feel like Sam Levinson was on Epstein's Airplane and the compromat being used to blackmail him and this show's producers is so devastating that the Quiverfull Evangelical Trump Cult Conservatives taking over American media and our "Free Press" convinced Sam that making this Euphoria FInale was preferable to public exposure of his darkest deeds. Seriously this is fucking Patriarchal Abrahamic Misogynist propaganda. Boooo!!! :(

Andrea Nolan

So sorry for your lost loved ones, truly.

Corpius

I hate slow-mo pacing for dramatic effect. It can work if its not overdone, but unfortunately its a style used to draw out length and mask indolent writing.

Lucy Grimshaw

Can we also talk about how the soundtrack was abhorrent?

Crystal

So happy this fuck-ass show is over. You guys already know my #1 complaint is the music. Listening to Labrinths recent albums I can see exactly the scenes they were for. Also we deserved All for us to play when Ali is in the club, and a rendition at the last supper. Truthfully this season was just an amalgamation of ideas thrown on a board and loosely strung together. We got literally nothing from Jules and her story went nowhere. We got a random side plot of Nate and then he dies. We got Maddy, whose storyline actually kindve made sense, but they made her dumb??? There’s no way season 1/2 Maddy doesn’t realize how dangerous Alamo is from the jump and tells him about Rue and the DEA. Cassie storyline was maybe on par with her character previously, but made to be more dumb and annoying. They threw Lexi in there for shits and gigs, and Alamo. Like…… Alamo was not a necessary character, at all. Everything he did could’ve be with Lori and her Nazis. It actually would make sense that a few years in the future they’ve grown to include trafficking and other stuff. Justice for Gia and Rue’s mom who were paid dust. I’m so happy this show isn’t coming back, it doesn’t deserve another season unless Sam wasn’t apart of it. The Christianity themes, the Nazi’s, all the slurs for no reason other than just saying it, the plots that are all dead ends full of holes and no strings to bring everything together. This was such shit show.

Patricia Grant

I was disappointed for sure. The saving grace was Almo getting what he deserved. Yeah, the writing was awful, and the pacing was painful. Literally gave me a headache. I hated what they did to Rue. She deserved a better story towards the end, and so did Jules.

Kaitlin Hilton

the way i was sobbing by the time her hand was reaching out.. im surprised by your reaction. it's still heartbreaking even if it wasn't told in the way you wanted.

LolaB

Whoo! That was one hell of a ride, the Alamo shooting scene took way too long but I’m proud of Ali for avenging rue, that took some balls. Bishop was so cute with the dog! I think him and Maddy are just friends and I’m so happy that they can finally live that luxury life now. This show was a trip Cassie’s sister got on my nerves lol And I liked how Wayne and Faye ditched everyone on horseback But yeah no more seasons Just let it be It was a very Awesome and Interesting Series R.I.P Euphoria 🫡😝😁🤭

Michelle

You guys are so negative toward this episode! It had some good moments.

ren

omg SAME some idiot posted RIP RUE literally minutes after the scene aired. I've had almost every major tv show and movie spoiled for me by twitter for years now but mid-episode was crazy.

Zach Eckels

Couldn't even watch this season on its own. Watching along with you two was the only way I made it through! Such a heavy-handed message and it was the polar opposite of everything this show had the potential to live up to. Sam Levinson get fucked.

Ellie Gillissie

I'm so glad this season is over with! I'm still not over Jules not saying anything throughout this season! I'm curious, though, didn't Sam Levinson write Euphoria seasons 1 and 2? If so, what happened that made his writing so bad this season!!!

Ronnie Lee

Nate and Jules were WASTED. Cassie was LOBOTOMIZED. Maddy became a girl-boss PIMP who conveniently forgot how to keep secrets when the plot called for it. Lexi wasted my time with that REDUNDANT ass Bible monologue. Rue had NO closure with her loved ones besides Ali. Nika King's face was PLAYED IN! This was reaaally disrespectful to these characters. I do not care about "realistic" on the show that never cared about realism til Rue had to die. Sam Levinson, I'm on your ASS. Thank you guys for making this slightly more bearable with your commentary 💗

Alex gallo

It honestly ended so badly that I just don’t think I could ever go back and watch this show again until I’ve completely lobotomized myself of the third season. Something feels very vindictive about it, like Sam Levinson is purposely trying to piss us off for some unknown reason. I just really couldn’t give a care about Rue or anyone this season. It was a finale for this season, but nothing close to series finale, that will always be Lexi’s play in my mind.

Chrissy

I’m glad it’s over. This season was so different, and definitely not in a good way. It was always going to end with Rue’s death. Her addiction was too deeply ingrained and she was surrounded by people who didn’t have her best interests at heart in the end. A big part of Euphoria’s aesthetic is also the music and the absence of Labrinths music this season was felt. They killed main characters by second hand characters that had nothing to do with prior seasons. It all felt so pointless.

Chrissy

What is it with series finales lately?? This crapfest, The Boys entire lackluster final season, The series finale of Stranger Things (which I’ll never forgive The Duffers for). They all think they’re sticking the landing and not one did.
