This movie is trauma for me. I was like maybe 12 and my dad and I were at Safeway and we swung through the movie rental section (yes, you used to be able to rent movies at the grocery store…) and my dad said I could choose a movie for us to watch tonight. I was a big fan of Bring it On so I saw this one and was like “oh, a cheerleader movie!” So I spent that evening watching this movie with my father and I was so embarrassed the whole time. To this day, my dad still teases me about it and I can’t even look at this movie without cringing so deeply. 😅😅
