Carrie Schwent

Can't wait to watch this when I get home from my long bike ride to the movie theater and back (about a 15 mile ride, round trip). What a treat!

Asami Ayla

I can't sleep... Let me check The Patch and... Omg! The best movie with you?! Perfect! ❤️

The Movie Buff

Now that’s how you end a fantasy epic unfortunately game of thrones dropped the ball badly

Ilo

YEEES! There's a heatwave, I have a cold, I'm miserable. This could not arrive at a more opportune time. As for the Hobbit movies - hard skip. They have no soul, unfortunately. I'd go so far as to call them cash grabs.

Violet

YES!!! I FULLY SUPPORT a HOBBIT reaction!

Violet

I definitely think they added so much and stretched them just to make it a Trilogy because yes they did want the money but I still think they're absolutely worth a watch. Maybe they don't have the depth of Lord of the Rings but they are still fun movies.

gloomygraveyardgirl

This might be my favourite movie of all time. (i am however banned from watching it on my period because i will ugly sob) Such a beautiful story, and i also think a tale like this, so full of hope is exactly what people need right now. This trilogy deserved every single oscar it got.

kc_rose

This has made my whole day!!! Can't wait for The Hobbit and maybe hopefully Rings of Power!!

Corpius

Sam and Frodo do meet again in the undying lands since Sam had held the ring briefly. He leaves to find Frodo after his wife passes.

Skylarcyn

4 hours!!! I would never watch a movie this long with anyone else! ❤️ Truly loved your LOTR reactions so much that I’ve been watching your GOT reaction too. You both bring so much insight, joy, and humor. Love watching with you! 🥰

SoraCanada

This trilogy just means so much to me, it's so beautiful in every way! I tend to waffle which one is my favorite, it's always between Two Towers and Return of the King (not to say I don't love Fellowship as well). Return of the King, in my opinion, was definitely the most emotional of the 3, it's so dark, but there's so much hope too! God, this trilogy is just beautiful, truly I think the greatest trilogy of all time 🥰 The Hobbit trilogy is definitely not as good, unfortunately....it had it's moments for sure, but ultimately the way it felt just couldn't compare to LOTR. That being said, I did love Martin Freeman as Bilbo, he was probably the best part in my opinion lol But any movie is worth seeing for yourself, they do still look very pretty 🙂

Joshua Scott

I'm here for a Hobbit reaction.

kc_rose

While The Hobbit might not hold as many people's hearts, I think it's still worth a watch, it's the beginning! It's entertainment and great acting😀

Carrie Schwent

And also, thank you for not using Shelob as your thumbnail pic, this arachnaphobe is grateful.

lunasera

There should be the opposite of an extended cut with the hobbit where the three movies are edited down into one good movie.

Chrissy

It’s Wes and his bucket hat season!! ❤️❤️ I really enjoyed watching these movies with you for the first time. I always found them quite long and daunting to watch by myself, but with you two, so enjoyed the trilogy.

Jayden Joshua

This movie is my favourite out of the three and let me tell you every time the ending appears I always cry cause what you mean the whole middle earth is bowing down to four little hobbits like every god damn time that scene plays I’m crying

Jayden Joshua

No legit I’m surprised no one spoiled that a giant spider would appear I think we all collectivly clutched ourselves tights cause even as 26 year old men I still can’t stand that spider scenes

Rosie G

“Now there’s a bigger wig budget for Gandalf” #priorities 🤣

Rosie G

“I’m sure there’s fanfiction” …oh you have NO idea.

Candice Kimbrough

“YOU BOW TO NO ONE” still to this day brings automatic tears 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

ariesbarbie

Id love to see a hobbit reaction!!! ❤️

Hind

Sam should've kissed Frodo u_u most beautiful love story of the trilogy.

Pam Nail

Yes, you should watch Gods and Monsters! Ian McKellan as James Whale. Fabulous. The scene near the end, with the four hobbits at the Green Dragon, clinking their ale mugs and just sitting with everything they've been through, is my favorite moment in the trilogy.

Jenny_M

Fun facts! In the book, Sam and Frodo and Rosie all live together in Bag End until Frodo goes to the Grey Havens, and then he leaves Bag End to Sam and, ultimately, after Rosie dies, Sam either gets or builds a boat and sails to be with Frodo in the Grey Havens. So that's canonical, baby! Also, Ian McKellan was VERY open with Elijah and Sean about the importance of the intimacy between Frodo and Sam, and made sure to point out specific book passages where they touched or held hands or whatever to ensure that that stuff made it into the scenes.

Chrissy

Sam against the spider/ flashbacks to Bob against the Demodogs 😭😩

Cinzia OM

Loved going on this journey with y'all. Sam and Frodo do have one of the greatest love stories. Please do watch Gods and Monsters. Especially since you have now watched the original Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein.

Ilo

I gotta disagree with you there, they're nonsensical, cgi-muddled messes imo. But, as always, it's a subjective preference.

Sentient Inuit

Gimli and Legolas have a very intimate friendship also. After the war Gimli took Legolas to the Glittering caves in Helms Deep and Legolas took Gimli through Fangorn. They spend over a hundred years traveling together then sail to the Undying lands on a boat Legoals makes

Sentient Inuit

The third eagle was for Gollum if he survived and that makes me cry

Jen Bee

Hope you’re feeling better now, Anna! 😊

Gillian Hadland

Good lorrrddd, I just cried like a baby for the last 45 minutes of this video 😅

Marcela Santos

Please watch The Hobbit trilogy and the show Rings of Power!

Nyantri

This movie makes me so emotional. Especially like the last hour of just Sam and Frodo making their way to Mount Doom. The tiredness of both their characters at this point and how weak Frodo is just from not only lack of food and water, but the emotional and physical burden of carrying the ring and the wounds he inflicted along the way. I truly felt like if there was to be any romantic connection for Frodo it would’ve been Sam 😅 I know they’re just really good friends and comfortable with each other but Frodo didn’t really show any romantic interest in anyone else prior to their quest. But I know there’s a theory he could’ve been aromantic or just wasn’t interested in anyone prior to leaving on their quest. I just love Elijah Woods portrayal of Frodo so much that it’s hard to not want someone who’s been through all that hardship to find someone who wants to be with him. But maybe he was just content being loved by his friends. A scene I will always cry at is after Aragorn is crowned king and they all make their way to the all 4 Hobbits and he says “You bow to no one.” 😭😭 that line followed by everyone else bowing to them is just very emotional. And of course the send off scene of Frodo leaving on the boat and saying goodbye. Sitting through 10+ hours of this franchise is worth every second of it! 😊

jackie

I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to point out that most of the rider extras were women! They brought their own horses and rode in armour and fake beards.

The Dreammweaver

I would love to see a hobbit reaction. People criticize it for being kinda cgi heavy when it’s unnecessary but I think it has just as much heart as these movies and the actors really make that trilogy worth it
