🔥🕯️ EVIL DEAD BURN lit us aflame and never extinguished our charred remains in this first time watch of the most vicious film in the franchise. Surpassing petty and not ever holding back, this installment had us in fight or flight as we watched from the inside of the literal hell mouth that is our apartment on one of the hottest nights of the year... 💀🩸🔥

That dog scene scared me and I even black out trying not to remember that 😧, but definitely loved the rest of the movie❤️❤️🌸

I want to genuinely thank you for your comment because if you hadn't said this I would have watched that movie and I absolutely refuse to watch movies where something bad happens to an animal so thank you for posting this I really appreciate you

Same! I don't usually even look at the comments before I start watching, but for some reason this time I did. I went to 'Does the Dog Die' website, read what happens and knew I had to nope right out of the full watch along. I cannot watch any type of animal trauma. I can watch people get their heads lopped off all day, but if an animal is even mildly distressed I can't handle it. Thanks again!

Certainly my least favorite of the new ones, and thought the cgi ending was lame and message heavy handed. Some cool moments though and really liked the Tia deadite.

Summer Passeos

Love it thanks, but i need to know what happens to tara

I went into the movie knowing the dog died because I looked it up. That said I cried the moment the dog died. I hated that moment so much. Other than that I actually really love this movie. It's not my favorite of the series but I still really enjoy it. Evil Dead Burn is as close to a French horror movie as it can get with American audiences. French horror movies do not care to cross lines and I'm still traumatized from watching INSIDE. Souheila Yacoub as Alice gives a great performance. Tandi Wright once again plays a mom who can't just have a normal dinner scene in a horror movie. 4 out of 5 stars from me.

I would say in terms of action, this is one of the best. It was the first movie I rooted for the deadites because this family is awful! Except the women that married/dated in.

As much as i hate any harm coming to animals like i just feel everyone is fair game in a horror movie. I really didn't like the middle portion of the film, felt it took a little while to really get going, but that could just be the family. I mean i really didn't like any of the family, they all felt so weak, and to many of the choices they made just kept pissing me off. Towards the end like the last 40 min or so it started to pick up, and I really was cheering on our final girl. The gore has to be the highlight, and really it should be cause its an Evil Dead film. The Grandma was probably my favorite deadite in this, really enjoyed her. If i had to sum up my biggest issue its that I just wasn't having fun, and like i get it its a bit darker more serious so maybe that wasn't for me. I still have to respect the vision cause its not really a bad movie at all, but for alot of Evil Dead fans we go in wanting to have a good time and not take things to serious. So i can see why this limped its way to profitability and why it did better overseas. I'll definitely watch again though understanding the tone a bit more and the domestic violence angle. I loved yall reaction as always I mean its why i come here, and i wasn't disappointed with anything that was said.

This movie had my heart rate UP y'all!! This whole series scares the crap out of me like no other series since The grudge and I'm SO here for it. Side note. The theater i saw this in had their trash areas for each screen just outside door. As I was leaving I turned to toss my remaining popcorn only to see an employee with his little breom/ dustpan on the other side of the trash cabinet JUST STANDING THERE! He scared the crap out of me, I even let out a tiny yell. And he didn't even apologize for it. Not cool dude.

The abusive asshole husband absolutely deserved that, and frankly his father too. I managed to get out of z situation 23 years ago and often wish a ( hypothetical ) similar end for my ex who was/still is a similar bastard

After Obsession I had to look up animal danger. I look away from that scene every time because I just can’t with animal death rn. Sending all the hugs.

As someone whose favorite of the franchise is Evil Dead Rise & 2013 this is easily the weakest of the three. That said, it’s still a great time and definitely just about as good! It does take a bit of time to get going but once it does it never lets up. Most of the family were insufferable especially the mother. Alice was a great addition to the franchise tho, such a diva! Also Poor Thya, her husband was such a coward. Her deadite and the grandma were iconic

Chrissy

Love this movie. It’s just mean. Brutal. The car scene is insanity. Didn’t have the nerve to shoot his dad who’s killing his wife, then leaves his wife.

Yall and these fake animals in HORROR movies

Chrissy

Alice reminds me of Melissa Barrera

Anytime an animal death is shown in a fictitious film, the only way I can get through it is to continuously tell myself it’s fake and the real life animal is fine. And lived. And is cared for. And is loved. And is alive and well. And that the animal wasn’t traumatized by the scene if the film has the humane society statement attached to it. Literally have to keep that mantra in my head the entire rest of the film to continue watching it. If it’s a human death though? Slice and dice away mutherfckers 😂

Miss Torres9

Tya was incredible, sad we didn’t see Necronomicon tho

Miss Torres9

A demon calling a human “a wicked little bitch” 💀🤣

The fact people keep reading from these damn books is the real literacy crisis. Just stop.
