Hey Petty Pumpkins!!

Thank y'all so much for your patience with us while we tried to figure out this new editing software last week--behind the scenes it was a liiiiittle rough but we've finally figured it all out and can continue on with our normally scheduled programming! Please enjoy our reaction to the deliciously wild Trick 'r Treat and hope everyone enjoys this last week of October!

Stay spooky!

This is my favorite horror anthology with Creepshow right behind it.

The little kid peeping in the dressing rooms is also the person that wears the Sam costume 🎃

First of all, I ❤️Chey's sweatshirt. The color is amazing and it looks super cozy. I had never seen this one either and had it on my list for this spooky season, so when I saw that it won the poll I waited to watch it with you. What a fun movie! Loving the new format for the watch alongs. Thanks for powering through the tech issues for us.

Really enjoyed watching this. I had seen it before but it has been so long that I didn't remember most of it. Great reaction as always!

So glad ya'll reacted to this! As fellow gays, Halloween lovers and horror fans, you're already one of my fav reaction channels. I have been banging the Trick 'R Treat 2007 reaction drum forEVER (including on EVERY Petty Pumkins YT video) because NONE of my fav reactors have seen it! THANK SAMHAIN I could count on my boys at Petty Pumpkins! I watch the movie EVERY Halloween night! It's the epitome of a Halloween movie (not just a horror movie)! It's a Halloween masterpiece; a cult classic. It's an anthology film that tells several different, equally entertaining stories but still manages to organically provide amazing Halloween lore and cleverly uses the "official" Halloweem mascot, Sam (aka Samhain), to tie the stories together in brilliant ways that don't detract from the stand-alone pieces of each story. It's fucking BRILLIANT! It's over-looked & underappreciated because so few people have even heard of it.

You two are so cute. Also, when that item fell an you jumped, I did too! Freaking headphones! lol

Yass! I knew you'd LOVE it and I know you'll LOVE it even more on re-watch! During first watch, we all miss so many clues & hints, and in this movie, a huge part of that is all the lore and rules (Dos & Donts) of Halloween, which are mostly muttered quickly by characters in passing. We end up getting distracted and having full conversations while the movie is playing and we miss so much. I only noticed a small portion of what you missed lol. mostly in passing or throwaway lines. In a connected anthology film like this, no detail is too small. Everything is important. rules (Dos and Donts) and those scenes are some of the best parts. I'm also super excited to FINALLY (HOPEFULLY) get the ball rolling on the sequel! It's in active development and Michael Dougherty (writer & Director of this movie) returns to write and direct. He brought back the same storyboard artist and brought in his two co-writers on the "Krampus" movie! Both if them also wrote stories in the official Trick R Treat omnibus. The new articles are Michael Dougherty answering questions from screenings of the movie and he said it's in active development with Legendary studios and they have a "great, great script," written by him his Krampus co-writers.

Agree 💯 with you about the carving pumpkins on Halloween night. Always bugged me too. Also - In the first Halloween the parents weren’t around, they hired babysitters on Halloween! Bothers me so much. 😂🎃

“Trick 'r Treat 2 is finally in active development after years of anticipation, with several drafts of a script and a stack of storyboards and concept art.” - gamerant.com (20 hours ago).

So Sam is kind of a punisher of those who doesn't keep up with the tradition of halloween. The reason he didn't kill the bus driver is because him getting the candy bar was a tradition of trick or treat .He came after the bus driver because he wasn't following tradition in giving out candy .To Sam taking the candy bar that saved the bus driver was the bus driver following tradition of giving out candy for Halloween

Chrissy

My most favorite Halloween movie. I love how all the stories link together in one town

Maghen Connolly

one of my favorite films watch it every Halloween. soooo excited to watch you guys experience it.

I just realized that the kid with the curly blonde hair was the same kid in the "Bad Santa" movies.
