This was a great movie to react to, and you did a great reaction. Thank you! This wasn't an immediate financial hit in the US (though it audience has built over time, and in home viewing), especially for a Tom Cruise action movie. I've always thought that the title hurt it; it always sounded more like an American daytime soap opera to me (two of the longest-running were called Edge of Night and Search for Tomorrow, so you can see the problem). The title of the novel it was based on, All You Need Is Kill, isn't any better as far as I'm concerned. Actually, I think that the advertising tagline "Live Die Repeat" would have been the best of all (and some video retailers pushed it under that title).

Now that you mention it, it IS a poor title for what the movie is 😂. How about..."The Alpha" ?

Loved the reaction. Not a bad little sci-fi flick. My only real problem is the ending. I prefer a heroic sacrifice over the Lazarus rises trope. I guess Tom has a no-kill clause in his contract. The only other film I know of that borrows the Groundhog Day scenario is called Happy Death Day; a pretty decent horror movie.
