Yes, "A Fistful of Dollars" was dubbed. The film was originally shot with actors speaking their native languages, primarily Italian and Spanish. Clint Eastwood, for example, spoke his lines in English. After filming, the movie was dubbed to match the intended language for its various releases. For the English-language release, Clint Eastwood's lines remained unchanged, but the other actors' lines were dubbed into English. Similarly, for the Italian release, Eastwood's lines and those of other non-Italian actors were dubbed into Italian. This practice was common in Spaghetti Westerns due to the multilingual nature of the casts and the international target audiences.

I can't believe nobody bothered to mention that this film was based on Yojimbo, the story of a samurai who enters a small village and plays two feuding factions against each other. That movie, directed by Akira Kurosawa and starring Toshiro Mifune is a wonderful film. Hope you get the opportunity to put that on the channel some day.
