In case you were wondering about the outfits, in America it's the law to wear blaze orange on your outfit to prevent accidental shootings of other hunters --- not that it helped Ron any. Also it's not farfetched that Ron just had a flesh wound, if they were using small pellet birdshot it wouldn't have been terribly harmful unless it was up close.

Apparently, I am not the only one who loves this episode. It is definitely the one that made me know I was going to tune in every week from that point forward. April and Andy one on one is something I never would have expected to work as well as it does. Donna is starting to get more of a role, and she is freaking delightful! Both her initial reaction to her car being shot and when she tackles Leslie are great moments (and when she shoots at nothing). I love the conversation with the ranger. Amy Poehler is a pretty diehard feminist, so I'm sure she loved playing up the absurdity of that scene. It's also interesting in retrospect because the comedian who played the park ranger was Jay Johnston who was arrested for participating in the January 6th attack on the US Capitol. It was crazy to find out about that because all of the comedy I saw him do early on was with some comedians who I would consider quite liberal like Paul F. Tompkins, David Cross, Bob Odenkirk, Scott Adsit, and Sarah Silverman. So weird. Anyway, great reaction as usual!

It feels like they are all starting contribute to the episodes and we get to find out the little quirks they have, the April and Andy part we did not see coming. Oh damm didn't realise he got arrested for that.
