Because of this episode, Galentine's Day has actually become a real thing in the US, in a small way -- gatherings (typically but not necessarily on February 13) to celebrate female friendship and support.

I think Ron was correct that Justin was selfish in the way he manipulated events with Frank and Marlene just to have a better story. Leslie picked up very early that it was a bad idea and it just got worse, and Justin pushed all the way through because a disaster makes a better story, no matter how much it'd hurt Marlene, Leslie or even Frank.

Exactly. Leslie's motivation is rooted in the possibility that her mom and Frank find love. Justin's motivation is the future payoff of having people hang on his every word while he tells another amazing story. He doesn't care if he's the hero of the story because the part he likes is being a great storyteller.
