I voted for Stardust because it's my favoritre modern fairy tale movie of all time, and it's far from 'basic', unless you watch with your brain turned off. Lots of nuances which get blended into the background details so sure, it's easy to miss, but if you pay attention to details at all, you'll quickly begin to notice that there's some depth there in all the unspoken layers of symbols and details. Non spoiler, but you'll run into people who are named by the latin ordinal number of their birth. That's the in-your-face bit that's "basic". Astute observers will look at the clothing for each of said characters and quickly realize that their clothing patterns are made out of repeating stylized Roman Numerals which correspond to their name/birth order. I can't go into more detail without actual factual spoileroos, but that's just a tip of the iceberg for how close into the background details you have to look to start seeing some nuanced refererences and 'suggested connotations'. I never expected Stardust to be so popular though. Usually I'm one of the few folks who really really likes that film. Best Wicked Witch character since Wizard of Oz, too. Wicked's witch matches the brilliance of the Stardust big bad witchy-poo, but I still think that Michele Pfeiffer's perfomance in Stardust overall is the best film Witch since Margaret Hamilton took a bath.

wow that is interesting i cant think or another move that has gone into that much depth as to what clothing items match their numbers and date of birth etc. We are excited as we think it will actually win the poll by a land slide lol

I've voted for "Highlander". A timeless movie. Worth watching regardless of the poll results. A sure thing for your channel. Cinema, anime and TV sequels aren't necessary to watch, but if youse will, then generally treat all entries as elseworlds. You'll see why if youse decide to see them. They're also two Highlander series. Best to watch after the original and surely before "Highlander: Endgame". There's a certain appeal to every piece but the franchise is messy. And maybe it's best to watch only the original. Because of its ending. It'll become obvious why. ➖ And other fantasy (movies and series) recommendations (to watch or for polls) below (most not worse than Conan), if you haven't seen it: ● The Mysterious Cities of Gold (1982) - let's say it fits the genre ● Princess Mononoke (1997) ● Spirited Away (2001) ● Dragonslayer (1981) ● Willow (1988) ● Ladyhawke (1985) ● Excalibur (1981) ● Legend (1985) ● Dragonheart (1996) ● Red Sonja (1985) ● Solomon Kane (2010) ● Conan the Barbarian (1982) ● Conan the Destroyer (1984) ● Season of the Witch (2011) - not the best but there's some appeal to it, a B movie (always check the Audience's Rotten 🍅🍅) ● The Odyssey (1997) ● The Thief and the Cobbler (1993) ● Mulan (1998) ● Jumanji (1995) ● Dungeons & Dragons (2000) ● if you're stubborn (like imma be... one day) Dungeons & Dragons 2: Wrath of the Dragon God (2005) ● rather not Dungeons & Dragons 3: The Book of Vile Darkness (2012) ● Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) ● Mary Poppins (1964) ● Mary Poppins Returns (2018) ● Hook (1991) ● Christopher Robin (2018) ● The Brothers Grimm (2005) ● Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) ● The Mummy (1999) ● The Mummy Returns (2001) ● The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) - if youse want, 'cause the female lead was recast ● Van Helsing (2004) ● Immortals (2011) ● Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) ● LotR Trilogy and Hobbit Trilogy if you haven't seen them, but you both rather did ● The Chronicles of Narnia Trilogy (2005, 2008, 2010) ● PotC Anthology - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean_(film_series)#Films ● The Mummy (2017) - well, it's a fantasy still ● The Green Knight (2021) ● Record of Lodoss War (1990) ● Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight (1998) ● Legend of Crystania: The Motion Picture (1995) ● Legend of Crystania: The Chaos Ring (1996 – 1997) ● Rune Soldier (2001/2004) ● Berserk (1997) - original separate continuation ● Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I – The Egg of the King (2012) ● Berserk: The Golden Age Arc II – The Battle for Doldrey (2012) ● Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III – The Advent / Descent (2013) ● or the trilogy as episodes (with new scenes and animations) in: Berserk: The Golden Age Arc – Memorial Edition (2022) ● Berserk Season 1 (2016) ● Berserk Season 2 (2017) ● Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) - adaptation ● Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos (2011) ● Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) - inspired by then yet unfinished manga ● Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa (2005) ● Castlevania (2017) ● Castlevania: Nocturne (2023) ● Dust - https://youtu.be/9LpJBAT-ze0 ● Kingdom - Season 1 (2019) ● Kingdom - Season 2 (2020) ● Kingdom: Ashin of the North (2021) ● Arcane (2021) ● Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2016) - cancelled, with some things being setup for Season 3, but Season 1 is self-contained (it's all over the place, yet coherent and great, weird too, and with a familiar face). ➖ Note: All up to youse, but I recommend not to mix the series. At least not of the same genre as all above are. For the immersion's sake. While most movies are not spanning over months of watching so it's easier to follow and remember plots even if movies interrupt your series watches. Although you two guys with your recaps are the best on YouTube. ➖ Oh, and if youse decide to watch "BSG: The Plan" before the Finale, then watch it after S04E16. A bit more why here 👉 https://archive.today/Dy9gk (no spoilers there). After S04E16 it's retrospective to all previous arcs and the very last scene in that episode ties perfectly to the themes and perspectives explored/shown in "The Plan". And "The Plan" ties to things that start with S04E17. Kinda new start of sorts. People recommend "The Plan" after the Finale... or after S04E15... where it disrupts the narrative flow more than after S04E16. And after S04E16 it's kinda the way S04E15 is to Season 3 and Season 4. Both retrospective. But in any way pay attention to hybrid's utterance in "The Plan".

Just saw your reaction for S04E10 of Battlestar Galactica. You took it well 😏. This was very funny 👉 https://youtu.be/xhelDcvnj08?t=15m16s (Manesh being giddy and Shyam's comment about it). 😁 Also, Manesh asked if youse should be looking for Earth version 2. At 👉 https://youtu.be/xhelDcvnj08?t=19m9s Well, the constellations matched. As youse know (a good realization) 👉 https://youtu.be/xhelDcvnj08?t=23m37s And yes, they're in the correct alignment. As presented in the Tomb of Athena. Where we saw those we know ourselves as ours. So... what's next? And whatever next, what with all that we know and should remember until now, when the ending comes? Whatever the characters will think, after all Head Six didn't know what was that device under the DRADIS console in the Miniseries, so what else... ➖ A comment by Haselius00 on YouTube talks about a clue in the Tomb of Athena. But it's so vague that now even I know how youse might feel about the vagueness in my/etc comments 🙂. Which is deliberate. And there are two other hints in S04E01. Can't talk specifics without spoiling. Tho I would say to keep the above in mind and think what things might mean within the limits that even "BSG TOS" didn't exceed. A series which is not straight forward in some aspects either. Tho was straight forward in some other ones. For now most wanna leave it for you to think about it. Tho after some time I can post my full view on the matter if youse will open for commenting the last post for "BSG" or "Caprica" or "BSG: Blood and Chrome". ➖ Man, the show is my all time favorite even with some flaws... stemming mostly from being one season too short. One at most. Hence someone told you in comments about controversies. Overall, some events (and some free labor SyFy was wiggling for) leading to and the WGA strike itself affected the length of Season 4 (RDM didn't want to deal with unregulated relations... the strike was about too) and... it's very condensed to say the least. You might miss bits and pieces. Which tie to previous seasons. Some dot connecting? Some scientific terms included? I'll say this. If youse eventually (best after BSG) watch movies from my list here 👉 https://www.patreon.com/posts/jan-movie-poll-117647661 (I've updated it a bit) youse rather get what I mean if not sooner for yourselves. And then you should get what the Saying means (first uttered in S01E08). ➖ Sorry, I'm vague... and wordy 'cause of it... but no spoilers is the imperative. Okay, I'll give you a hint at least re 👉 https://youtu.be/xhelDcvnj08?t=21m19s There's a very bluish thingy in that particular view. Guess what that is. Cause as one of youse said, continents weren't shown. The cloud cover was very heavy. Post nuclear. Some people rejected it even after I've told them. But... protagonists decided for no recon before landing and if not explored it's still there. Mind that the only mistake the show runners admitted was the fact that the Lagoon Nebula shown in the Tomb of Athena as being in the Scorpio Constellation is actually in the Sagittarius Constellation. Re 👉 https://youtu.be/xhelDcvnj08?t=23m52s They've jumped close to Earth. The Moon and the planets are small dots from that vantage point. That's why pictures of Earth from the Moon show smaller looking Earth than in S04E10. 😀 👉 https://youtu.be/xhelDcvnj08?t=24m41s ➖ Have a good watch.
