The break-up conversation with Ann was the one we saw, but we cut away partway through -- we didn't see the final portion of it when Chris actually broke up with her.

We did think that because of looks like they had the conversation at another time. it makes total sense no having seen the episode 🤣

A lot of diners in the US serve lower quality steaks that are tough and stringy. That looks like what Ron was served (Salisbury steak at a diner would be covered in mushroom gravy). Compared to the Ribeye or Porterhouse that Ron was expecting to eat, the diner steak was sad, tiny, and overcooked. An insult to the word steak. This episode really tests my ability to suspend disbelief. Ron's favorite steakhouse may have closed, but I can think of 10 high end steakhouses in Indianapolis off the top of my head, and I only go there one weekend a year for the Indy 500. Ron would probably know 30 other places to get a really good steak. I choose to believe that by the time they left Chris' house, 24-hour diners were the only places open. Maybe this commentary seems like an overreaction, but steak is serious business. I think from your reaction to the episode that you may understand. 😂😂😂

Yes, I once made the mistake of ordering a steak in a diner (a favorite hangout of mine actually)... and got about what I deserved, considering the price and the context. I avoided that on their menu afterwards, and stuck to what they were in a position to do well.
