Hi Guys! You have to understand that Naomi knows very well that Filip won't believe anything she says about her side of the story after being brainwashed by Marco for his whole life. She simply states that she understands how he feels and she is sorry. She uses the word abandoned in order to get him to feel he is right and hopefully listens to her and starts to trust her. It is a pure negotiation tactic showing she knows her audience to some degree. Giving him excuses about her leaving would just make him side more with Marco (which he does anyway!) and then at the last moment he tells Cyn and the other woman to "prep her for flight" (they clearly weren't expecting him to say that!). Why? IMHO it is because what he did hear of their conversation is that she was sorry and she loved him. Just my two cents! (as the mother of a son...)

I finally remembered the other woman's name is Karal (who is a male in the books). She is very well played by that actress!
