The Children of Sheol The Nephilim were exiled beneath the Gulch of the Floating City of Atlantropa millennia ago. The inhabitants of the twilight realm of Sheol were created by the wish of this singular prisoner; the children would come to know a world through their creator's faded memories.

The city of 10,000 Pillars, Iram. The last vestiges of a civilization washed away by the torrential rains of the deluge. Its architecture, alien to the human mind, it's shadow cast an oppressive and fatiguing pressure on the psyches of those unaccustomed to Sheol. It is the seat of power for the corpulent Humeaba and houses delegations from the dark orders of the Children.

The Children of Sheol are tall and ashen-skinned, resembling the surface-dwelling humans their creator once ruled over. Most seek to live modest lives.

Gormoth of the Silverdepth, defender of the free Duma of Silverdepth, is tall even for a Child of Sheol. He is an enigmatic figure who appears when needed.
