The United Nations Under the Pax Americana (Patreon)

The year is 20XX, half a century since the day of Global Liberation, in which the Americans succeeded in bringing peace and order to the world in the Final War. The world has now prospered under a new era of uninterrupted peace, with no more wars or major conflicts and the establishment of a new global economic system that improved upon the ancient one prior to the Vulnerate times. Even old organizations like the United Nations have been brought back, as the American promise to the world was to foster an international community by giving all nations seats on the United Nations Council. Having learned from the mistakes of the past, the Americans have opted to take sole charge of the Security Council, with hopes of one day bringing other nations into it once they have been properly developed.

The armed forces, trained under the watchful eye of the United States of the Americas, the Stone Dogs of Democracy, a far greater and more capable peacekeeping force, are able to deal with the unfortunate vestiges of high strangeness that still plague the world. Their job is vital, as where the Stone Dogs go, democracy and globalization soon follow. They have undertaken several missions in Africa, Asia, Oceania, and even Europe. They have their hands full, but there is no shortage of volunteers for such a noble cause.
