Feel free to write down any questions you may have about the setting or my work process, or anything of that nature. Secondly I do want to make little lore vids, what would be a good point to start with! Any suggestions or anything you'd like me to touch on first let me know too!

Okay, DaemonxCore lore videos are unexpected development xD. Wishing you luck on this one! I think going with the basics and touching upon current state of the setting, alongside some quick explanations regarding basic in-universe terms (Vulnerate, Cognition, Cord etc) should be good enough for first videos. Obviously without revealing too much mystery about the concepts themselves - quick rundown for new folks and ones needing a reminder.

As for the Q&A part - recently I'm particularly interested about "Neophyte program" mentioned in Kissinger's lore. Seems like another way for Americans to create a supersoldier or a post-human, but details are scarce for now, for obvious reasons

A question that I have for the Q&A is more about where your ideas come from and how they evolved over time?

Minister Screwtape

To give a shorter answer, since I do plan on answering this further when it comes to the Q&A vid. I think a lot of it originated way back in high-school and before, I had a cohesive setting in mind. I was big fan of creepy pastas, the world building of series like Resistance and Armored Core, and also history in general, it was always my favorite subject. So all these scattered ideas had been here and there for awhile, until in 2019 I think, I learned of Lobotomy Corp, a Korean SCP inspired game, and I made fan works for it, heck even fanfiction, and from that moment it changed into something of it's own, and over time I just kept adding more of these old concepts into the setting!

Minister Screwtape

After that, I have been simply adding upon these concepts and fleshing them out, I now often draw inspiration from historical events and the media I enjoy, making them a mish mash of ideas!

Minister Screwtape

That's a good subject! well to keep it short for when I cover it on the Q&A Neophytes were created by the US with the concept of nullifying Cognition users and Abnormalities. I guess in a crude comparison think about them like magnets, so a cogniton user has positive charge and us regular folks have negative charge, we attract and are affected by them, well the thought process behind the Neophyte is this they are a overwhelming positive charge, one that repels Cognition users. it isn't a perfect explanation, but it should help you visualize the relationship between Neophytes and Cognition users. The Masks they were further amplify this adviseral effect!

Im overall interested in the Religions in this setting and which dominant the current setting, cause god like entities do exist here (Mithra, Carthine God, the Black Sun the schwarzwald revere, the Odphidian Dragon God, also mentions of Mahākāla, Shesha, the Assyrian gods, the Moon god who started shit in Atlantropa and Wodyn if he halfway counts due to his artificial nature), I wonder what other divinities/ pantheons are still around in the current year and what games are they playing with earth

Wojciech Pochwała

Always a sucker for concept of magic dampeners (Pariahs/Blanks from 40k universe being the most popular examples in popculture currently) Loving the magnet metaphor, too xD Consider the mask being amplifiers I certainly could imagine them being made from silver - famous fey and magic repellent metal in IRL folklore!

This is a very broad topic for sure and one that I haven't super fleshed out in my mind just yet, a key concept in the world of DxC is the power of human cognition, which are capable of manifesting concepts from the Immaterial into the Material reality. Belief has power! I'll have a proper like brainstorming though, since this is a topic I do want to expand upon when it comes to Cognition!
