Warwitch Astrid: A powerful Warwitch capable of casting without the use of a channeling aid, she is one of the few Witches of the modern age capable of matching the descriptions of the ancient Mithraic Oracles that communed with the pantheon of ancient deities that have long since fallen dormant. Her ability to create raging storms of fire, one that has led to the Rhine top brass to consider her a Vengeance Weapon.

As for Astrid, she is a very introverted and secluded person, rarely seen. Little is known of her outside of her actions as a Warwitch, perhaps it is her fire that wards those curious away or perhaps no one has ever asked who Astrid the person actually is aside from a weapon of mass destruction.

Rhinelan Flammenwerfer: specialized units within the Rhinelan armed forces, they are primarily utilized in clearing aberration and abnormalities. They have also seen use in clearing out enemy bunkers, they are usually attached to engineering teams as well for landscaping purposes.

First time hearing that War Witches need to have magical conduit to cast their power - that's certainly cool lore tidbit. That also explains why Schwarzwald four armed witches are seen with forks and sickles for example (assuming weapons like those can be those conduits, of course) By the way, it's a fun thing seeing cultural similarities between various character. You can see both Astrid and the aforementioned four armed Schwarzwald witch are from the same culture, because their outfits are similar to each other (outrageously brimmed witch hat, emphasis on dark colours, cloak etc). Though the Schwarzwald one is obviously looking much more eldritch xD

Yep they do, usually it is a weapon or a scrying tool, I have tried to keep that consistent whenever I draw a witchy character! and yeah both of them are "German" witches! it is fun to design them and see how differently yet similar they are!
