Pardon the long delay, this month and the last had been very tough, but I think things will be better now, I'm still a bit here and there, but time heals everything, please enjoy the strange Yellow Princes of the Dreaded Carcosa.
"The Bleeding of the Human Noosphere during the Vulnerate allowed things that had only existed through folklore, myth, and tales from mad men possessed by the touch of insight, a way into the material reality. The schemes and machinations of these Elder-kin throughout countless eons had failed to so effectively pierce the veil, it was the actions of one man that brought about the end of the split between the two realities. Earth was flooded not by water or fire, but by cognitive abominations, when the dreaded city manifested it was not without struggle, as all these forces struggled for the control of the world. Mankind had not withered, their will power was underestimated, a grave mistake that would cost the Elder-kin their ambitions for the world."
The battle for the Living Wall
The noble Jiu-Wei trusted General under the Prince in Yellow Gu-Wung the Worm, leads a great war host towards the Great Living Wall as the savage barbarian hordes of the Magnolian tribes once again threaten to pillage the bountiful lands of the Heavenly kingdom.
These savage creatures had burned, raided, and threatened the hegemony of peace bestowed upon the Elder-kin by the decree of Dread Carcosa and the late King in Yellow. The righteous Gu-Wung true heir to the Eternal Throne of Dread Carcosa dutifully bound and sculpted the Great Living Wall from the vile tendrils of the Fleshscape and countless human lives, all to ward off the Magnolians and create a truly divine wonder of flesh engineering that put to shame his brothers.
Chinggis Khan, ruler of the Magnolian tribes has successfully defeated many armies sent to stop him, now with the aid of the wretched Rat-Kin he seeks to poison the Great Living Wall and breach it to further ease his goals in the Heavenly kingdom. To further complicate matters the humans of the Yangtze, the slaves of the Kingdom and currency of the Elder-kin have once again begun to rebel, undoubtedly emboldened by the actions of the Magnolians. They will be dealt with once the situation with the despicable Khan is concluded.
The Great Living Wall, created by the Prince In Yellow Gu-Wung and his brothers, who rule neighboring principalities, all claim the same that they single handly created the wall. It took countless human lives and the retrieval of Fleshscape materials to construct. It is kept docile and stationary with the strange music of the Cth'thonic Monks. It was created in response to the Magnolian advances, with the territory beyond the wall being considered expendable. The strongest concentration of the Wall is located near the sight that bridges the material and immaterial realities of the city Dread Carcosa. Despite their numerous quarrels all the princes agree that it would be the greatest humiliation and proof of the stripping of Heavenly Mandate if a human were to enter the Dread City.
The ambition of the Khan under the Heavens.
The people of the Heavenly Steppes have raided and pillaged from the Heavenly kingdom for generations, since the times of myth in which their god Vangri bested and killed the King in Yellow, the Magnolians have been fighting the Elder-kin. The unification of the tribes was finally achieved by the son of Yesugei of the Borjigin tribe, he became their great Khan. He would best and defeat many great enemies towards the West, his Hordes would continue his will as all under the skies belongs to him. He would focus his attention back to the Heavenly Kingdom, with the aid of the Rat-Kin they could finally kill the flesh wall, allowing the Magnolians to push further into the Heavenly kingdom. For it was not just a war of conquest, but a war of extermination against the alien Elder-kin, a blighted and decadent race that defiled the world that the Khan saw to rule.
The Tomb of The King in Yellow. The final resting place of the mortal fragment of the King in Yellow, located within the material reality of Dread Carcosa, his size is immense, even in death his presence is still felt. None of the Yellow Princes have been able to claim the throne yet, as the presence kills all the unworthy that dare claim it and rest upon it.
The Court of the Prince in Yellow. A strange and macabre sight, one that elicits revolt in any poor human slave brought into it. The sights, smells, and noises are all overwhelming, intoxicating, driving minds into violent fits of pain and pleasure. An alien decadence that mankind is not meant to experience.
Abominations of the Elder-kin.
Infested Slave. The lowest of foot soldiers of the Yellow Princes, these humans have been infested with several worms that consume and replace the host's brain. The Princes do not worry about how physically fit or the condition of the host, as they are merely easily disposed of meat shields for their actual Elder-kin troops.
Elder-kin Warrior. The Warrior cast of the Elder-kin race, these monstrous creatures are the real fighting force of the heavenly kingdom. They are born from the embryonic sacks found within the immaterial reality of Dread Carcosa. Each one knows exactly which Prince they serve, in a way akin to drones. As the delicate equilibrium of the heavenly kingdom is built upon the constant struggle between the Princes they are constantly at war with one another, the Elder-kin Warrior knows only of battle.
The Shambling abomination. It is not known where these abominations come from. These bizarre creatures that appear disproportionate in every way are surprisingly durable and nimble. They are used widely in the armies of the Princes to deal with the countless waves of infested Slaves. They however pose little threat to the Magnolians, who are heavily armored and extremely proficient in ranged weapons.
Elder-kin Haskur. The Haskur caste of the Elder-kin, aliens from another reality or perhaps a different world. They had willingly embraced the Heavenly Mandate of the King in Yellow millennia ago, diligently serving under the banner of Dread Carcosa to subject lesser races and those that dare to rebel from the order. They have taken a particular interest in humans as a form of food, they enjoy the taste.
Commander He-Yin. The shade within the armor, a formless abomination of the higher caste of the Elder-kin. He pledged his service to Gu-Wung the Worm, believing he is truly the worthy successor of the blessed and departed King in Yellow. Accompanying his kin Jiu-Wei up north to the Great Living Wall, he seeks to prove himself against the most deplorable of the Magnolians, Chinggis Khan.
Cth'thonic Monk. Inhabitants of the immaterial reality of Dread Carcosa, the Cth'thonic Monks follow a dark belief system that is entirely alien. Their actions and rituals all seem to be dedicated to appeasing some greater deity beyond even the reaches of Dread Carcosa.
The servants of the dreaming one manifest through the sacrifice of a human host, they twist the body and reshape it into a fish like form.
Mound Beast. Massive alien creatures from another world, these beasts often burrow into the sides of mountains and lay dormant, using its strange proboscis to feed on passing by creatures. It is another creature foreign to earth that has been brought by the Elder-kin to alter the landscape to something more suitable to them. The Cth'thonic Monks have taken to building their shrines on top of the Mound Beasts; they are able to command them to move when needed.
