Big progress this week:

The β€œWalls” event is officially finished – and it’s a juicy one.

We’re talking 9 unique, hand-drawn images, each carefully crafted to reflect the choices you make. Some of them you’ll see… others? Only if you know what you’re doing. πŸ˜‰

This event might look like simple tavern maintenance on the surface, but trust me, there’s a lot more going on behind those walls.

As always, I’ll only show one teaser image to keep the tension high and the mystery alive.

Let the rest reveal itself in time… and in-game.

Next event’s already in the work, and I’m not slowing down anytime soon.

Do me a favor, stay tuned.

Honestly do not understand where this project is going. Is this a "For You " project or one you hope to make money on? You once stated you've been working on it for 9 years...I'm sorry, but for whats available, 9 years doesn't seem to be worthy of a brag ( you can only polish something so much). It has been 4 years, almost, since you left - close to 2 years since you "came back". I'm not meaning to be mean - I LOVE the art and story premise. Just your event map - it's all one person...is there a story, other characters? any game play? You've been saying something is coming soon for MANY MANY months. Your idea of soon is VERY different then mine. Glad you are doing well - best of luck...

Hey, first of all, thank you for taking the time to write this. I get that your message comes from a place of honesty, and I appreciate that you enjoy the art and the premise. That alone means a lot. But since you’ve asked for clarity, let me give it to you, plain and real. Yes, I’ve been working on this project for around 9 years. And no, that’s not a brag, it’s a statement of persistence. I still work on it. Why? Because I actually care about making something that feels real, beautiful, and different. During those 9 years, I’ve completely rebuilt my art skills from the ground up. I don’t use AI image dumps or lazy 3D renders like a lot of games in this genre. I draw everything myself frame by frame, manually. That takes time. But it’s also what gives this game a unique identity. You noticed that most events revolve around one single character, and that’s 100% intentional. I believe intimacy, tension, and connection don’t come from throwing 20 characters into a scene. They come from subtle build-up, visual storytelling, and the feeling that every moment matters. I don’t do β€œone image and a wall of text.” I do 100 meaningful images for 100 words. I want the visual experience to carry the emotion, not just describe it. And yes, I do have a full-time job. And a part-time job. And still, I work on this game almost every single day. I don’t have a team. No budget. No publisher. Just my hands, my brain, and the passion to make something that feels alive. You’re right. it’s taken time. Maybe more than it should. Maybe more than you’d expect. But here’s the difference: I’m not trying to push out a product. I’m trying to craft a world that has weight, charm, story, and style. There are other characters coming. There is gameplay. And there is structure behind what may look simple right now. I’ve already coded tons of backend systems that allow events to branch, NPCs to change behavior based on past choices, and the world to evolve visually as you play. It’s not just what I’m doing, it’s how I’m doing it. I get that my idea of β€œsoon” may not align with everyone’s. But I’d rather take the time to get it right, than rush something out and join the sea of forgettable, low-effort adult games. Again, thanks for being honest. I take it seriously, and I hope this clears up a few things. You’re always welcome to follow, give feedback, or step away and check back later. This project will move forward, and it’ll do so with the kind of love and effort that, I hope, will show in every frame. Do me a favor, stay tuned. - GuidanceGames - Alex

Thanks for the prompt and detailed reply. Understand the solo artist/dev and full-time job. Glad you are alive and well - definitely don't push yourself. When the game comes it comes. Just thought in one of your posts when you said your event was ready you had a demo or start. Looking forward to it. Best of luck.

Now we have to upgrade to comment. Tease day Tuesday 3 was three days ago with a title pic and no tease. I'm sorry dude but you seem to be a bit of a perfectionist and your followers are not. They just want consistency and actual product . Best of luck but this seems stalled.

Slight delay on my end, but the teaser image for this week’s event is finally going up today! Liliane’s floor-cleaning scene is coming together piece by piece, and this preview should give you a nice little taste of the mood I’m going for. And while I’m at it… I’m also dropping a special extra I’ve been working on behind the scenes for weeks. It’s something I’ve been carefully planning and shaping, visually and conceptually.
