Hey everyone!

I wanted to give you all a little development update because a LOT has happened behind the scenes lately.

Over the past weeks, I’ve been heavily remastering different parts of the game to improve the overall atmosphere and quality. Here’s a small overview of what has been updated so far:

Thorald has been completely redrawn from scratch

The city background has been fully reworked with more detail, improved sketch structure, better colors, lighting and atmosphere

The city now also features animated rain

The MC’s bedroom is now animated as well (fireplace + rain outside the window)

The guest interaction window has been expanded

Lili’s event intro has been visually reworked and adjusted sketch-wise

I also spent an insane amount of time experimenting with mechanics, systems and ideas. Some of them worked… some absolutely didn’t. :DThis project is honestly a huge trial-and-error process, and while I have many ambitious ideas, I also want to make sure the game still feels enjoyable and coherent instead of overloaded with unnecessary systems.

Because of that, I’ve decided to simplify certain things and focus more on creating a solid and immersive experience rather than stuffing the game with mechanics that don’t truly improve it.

One example:Guests will eventually have their own small mini-events that allow them to β€œopen up” visually over time. However, at least for now, these guest interactions are NOT intended to become major story elements. They are more like atmospheric side content that adds flavor to the tavern and world itself.

AND NOW…

I don’t want to promise too much yet BUT…I’m currently planning to release the very first test version on the 17th of this month for those who truly want to put the project under a microscope.

Please keep in mind:This is NOT an Alpha. This is NOT a Beta.

It’s more of a prototype / construct of the game. The goal is to gather honest feedback, see what works, what doesn’t, and what should be adjusted moving forward.

So please only jump into it if you’re genuinely interested in helping shape the project, and especially if you’re willing to provide constructive criticism and thoughtful feedback.

Thank you all for the support, patience and motivation. And I wish you all a wonderful Sunday!Do me a favor Stay tuned. Alex
