Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Well, we made it another week! It was a bit of mixed week for me, still battling the depression demons, got another big dump of cold and snow up here. But I still got work done, we persist, we persist.

Lawrence is an interesting challenge though. I find drawing his sprites to be more different from working on Strade than I anticipated. He moves around and walks away from MC more, but often wears the same blank expression. I'm glad he wasn't the first in line, since getting practice with Strade is helping me now. The extra poses and more subtle expressions are harder to draw, but I do feel challenged in a fulfilling way. I'm always happiest when I'm being challenged creatively.

He can be kind of a bummer to work on though LMAO He was a bummer to write, and he's a bummer to draw. At least in this early part of the game for sure.
