Unreal! Thought I'd provide a little more backstory to you guys on here and how I almost missed this opportunity :'D
So, june 28th, I was approached by a representative for this anime (which is now on TV, crunchyroll, basically everywhere u watch anime), where they asked me if I'd be interested in singing the opening.

However, I was really busy with other projects and I get asked to sing on things several times a week and it's never been an established manga about to release an actual anime before, so I read it and forgot about it, just sorta added it to the pile of things to look over when I had more time later on some other day.

Then 3 weeks later I still hadn't gone around to check up on offers to sing in or star in stuff and I got one more email from the anime studio saying they needed an answer before the weekend. LUCKILY I did a quick google search and realized holy shit this is a big franchise and the manga's sold really well in Japan. Since then I've mailed back and forth with them 110 different emails back and forth, both to agree on terms and mixes, how I sing stuff etc. And yesterday was the release day where episode 1 came out, and now I have finally sung an opening to a TV anime, in Japanese nontheless! I'm really excited and I hope you like the song. The full version is on spotify etc along with the instrumental, but I don't own the rights to the song so I can't distribute it here. I don't believe it. 9 years later and here we are.

So mindblown by this. It's more than 9 years now since I uploaded my first anime cover, not expecting much in terms of feedback, as I was doing mainly metal cover of pop songs etc then. But to my surprise people really took to it, and now, including medleys I think I've sung around 600 songs in Japanese, most all from animes. Singing anime songs is the thing that kept me going for all these years, and I have been hired to sing in Japanese for games in the past, but I never thought my Japanese was good enough to warrant the official opening theme for a proper anime. Logging in to crunchyroll today to hear my own song in an anime is just unreal. What a journey it's been. All my thanks to you guys for watching throughout this time. I'm sure it made a world of difference when the studio made a decision on me that you guys like and watch my videos. Thank you so much, and I hope you like Skeleton Knight in Another World!!
