I can't tell this enough, but I will say it to you because you deserve to know how you influence my life on a daily basis. When I wake up, I turn my Spotify on your playlist and I hear it non-stop while I do my make-up, while I drive to work, while I work on my computer, driving back home and then while I knit. You are an inspiration and I will never forget about you allowing me to use your music on my YouTube videos without hesitation! And although I don't have the channel anymore, it was amazing to have your permission. I will support you has much as I can because your music is part of me and it helped me so much during rough times. Thank you so much for everything you do!

Kelly

Hi PelleK, it's Kelly here! I love your music so much and I want to comment here to say, I choose to be on patreon not cause I haven't got enough money or anything like that I want to support you even with $1 to help out, cause I am honoured to be able to hear your music cause I use to hate metal and hardly even listened to it but when I came across your videos on YouTube I feel in love with them so I decided to go on patreon and support you.

Joseph Raine

Hey bro, we're right here behind you! Thanks for the update video, don't want to come off like a bible basher but I'll be praying for both your parents and you.

Amy (lydocia)

Thank you, for this and the previous video. It's made me think about what goes on behind the scenes of these wonderful videos. Not just "PelleK is also drumming and playing guitar and editing", but also "PelleK (and all those other YouTube channelers) are people too, with lives that could be complicated and rough, just like ours." You're the reason I'm on Patreon right now, and you're the reason I will be supporting other artists as well. I can't imagine not knowing what's going to happen to what you've built up over the years, if you're still going to have a source of income in a week or two. I can't imagine how difficult it is for you to still do this with so much passion despite what's going on in your personal life. So thank you for that. About losing Patreons because of their preferences, that's their loss, though. I'd love to see you do things YOU love to do. I like more or less the same things you do - I like your metal songs, anime covers, your original stuff, your Spanish stuff - I just like your talent. I love seeing what you put into your videos, heck, I love how you have your cover ready ONE DAY after an episode airs. It shows passion and dedication, and I really just want you to be able to do all that, and share it with us.

Xiao (SparKticas)

It warms my heart to know I made a difference, that I, one person and my small contribution has made big difference and helped out in such a significant way. Like I said, I may not be the MOST active subscriber, and I by no means watch EVERY video, but I acknowledge that if I dont like a particular video or cover, I choose not to watch, thats not because I dont like it but because I havent the need to complain on the video. The comment I do watch I thoroughly enjoy, its such a worthy cause. For such a talented individual and someone I genuienely want to support, I plan to help out more as I earn more!

Rob Lundgren

Thanks for the update bro! Wish your family a speedy recovery and all the best! And Big congrats to all the new support! You deserve it. Woah, I knew Norway was expensive as it is my neighbor country but now I´m glad I live in Sweden haha, although things are not super cheap here as well :) Rock on and hit me up with a collab anytime, I know many people have been asking for it, would be awesome for sure

Gina Spurlock

You have an awesome talent and I am glad that my daughter and I stumbled upon your music...thank JoJo's Bizarre Adventure...I wish I was able to pledge more. I hope for all the best for you and your parents. Do not apologize for not doing exactly what everyone wants, you should explore. Your voice is absolutely amazing, regardless of what you are singing.

Luca Stephan

I've listened to your music for a long time but you are one of the only people who took all of the songs from my childhood and made a medley of them! You're amazing in a lot of ways. Asking for help is not a weakness and you worked very hard for it. You deserve it all. If one day you come to Edinburgh scotland give me a shout and you and your family would be most welcome! Stay the way you are and good luck!

Amaiar (Airamand)

I'm gonna keep it simple. You are awesome and deserve more recognition. Youtube's being a little harsh nowadays, so it's okay to rely on us to support you while you manage things in order. Hope you success on your plans for your family. And HYPE FOR THAT BOKU NO HERO ACADEMIA SECOND SEASON YEAH!!

Nemamka

Man, I want to send you as much love and support as I can! I really hate that I can only afford a really basic amount but, hear me out, I love that I could make a difference because you made a difference in my life too with your voice! What you do is fucking amazing, I think the first time I heard you was like, at least 5 years ago. and I'm here for you, we will be here and hear you out, whatever you need to sing OR say! Hang in there!

David Dixon

If it wasn't for your honesty/ regret at making these videos I don't think I could have supported you, but you seem so human that it became a necessity. I will support you as much as I can, as I have watched you for 3 years now. I really hope that my support helps as much as it can.

Andre Ball

Thanks for the video PelleK...I am not very good with talking about my feelings either, so I know how difficult it must be to do so in front of so many people. But know that it was just that which made so many people listen...keep up the great work and being a great son...

Sai

I, uh, never have been a patron before. I just wanted to support you. I wish you the best of luck!

Nintwarr

Even though I can't support you with much money (which I wished I could) I want you to know that all the content you have released is far beyond valuable for us than some millions dollars (I hope I expressed that correcly) and, therefore, we love you for doing all oyu do. And, if you're interested, in Spain we have quite good healthcare service (and I think, as you are European, you can manage to get it free) but I'm not aware of the time you should wait. We also have private hospitals with good service (but quite expensive) and faster help but the "problem" is that, in general, public doctors are better than private ones, or are considered better, at least. I wished I could be of more help in that aspect but, please, have in mind Spain for you father's treatments becuase it's much nearer than the US. Good luck on that and see you in the next video.

Erian J. Yuri

You shouldn't feel awkward about sharing that with us ;-; maybe as viewers we didn't knew you needed the support, for example I didn't knew about the sponsors leaving youtube and... kinda stupidly I've thought everything was going well for youtubers. And... I really hope you could cover/sing whatever you like, I mean... we're here for your fantastic voice, amazing hability with the instruments and overall awesome style . If you feel like anime, let's be anime. If you want to go metal, let's be metal. Don't you ever dare to loose the passion of making the things you love. That's why we are here, right? Because you wanted to create something yours, and share it to the world. And we, the suscribers are the lucky ones to have found you. Sending you and your family the best of the vibes and a lot of love. Seriously, I bet all of us would make the impossible for our loved ones. You were sharing countless hours of work for free, and we just received them without giving a thought. Sorry for that. One day, I'll be able to support you with more money, I promise ! PS: Sorry for my English and the awfully explained ideas. I'm a little bit hyped x:

Rekirin

With how much entertainment you bring the world you deserve one dollar.

Tyler Singletary

We've got your back! I wanted to thank you for making this video. I think it is going to bring this community together, and really show us who you are.

Manuel Messina

I really really appreciate this. You telling us so much about yourself makes me feel real close to you. I'll keep supporting you regardless of what music you choose to do more, keep up the good work, we all admire you, so...right back at you, you're AWESOME!

Maxime Lemay

You have my support! You really rocks men. If I work everyday at my job, isn't just for paid my taxes, but to help those who wants live of their passion. All the stuff you're doing is clearly high qualities and you deserve it. Rock on!

David Durbin

I know it must have been hard to put yourself out there on such a touchy subject. Sometimes we have to trust our gut and ignore the second guessing. I'm so glad you uploaded that video instead of deleting it! I had no idea how bad your situation was. Immediately became a Patron after hearing. You deserve all the support you are getting right now and more! I truly wish for a speedy recovery for your parents! Thank you for all of the countless hours you've spent creating these entertaining, and very important videos. Chin up!

Brenna J Sullivan

Hi, PelleK! I'm probably way outside your usual demographic(40yr old lady from the US), but I love your work so much! I got hooked a few years ago with your metal covers in English, and stayed for your voice, no matter the content. Not to mention the Nightmare Before Christmas cover, which I'm absolutely obsessed with! I am so incredibly grateful that you made that video for YouTube the other day. Sometimes we need a reminder that just because our favorite creators are putting out amazing content, they're not being compensated appropriately. For example, the current issues with YouTube sponsorships, or just the simple fact that I had no idea(after years of watching!) that you created all your own backing music. I'm floored! I can't afford a ton, but I'm so happy to do what I can to pitch in. You obviously deserve it! I'm also thoroughly enjoying getting to know you a little better as a person, and, well, you're fucking delightful, and I wish I could give you a big hug. Much love to you and your parents. Stay awesome!!

Veronica Magdaleno

Stay strong Pellek! I hope you are able to find the support you and your family needs. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It's nice to get to know the people you support. I'm looking forward to your next video!

Sambony

Whole reason I hadn't supported directly like this before now was because I, like many, didn't realize YouTube was having the issues it is. I knew that there were SOME sponsors leaving, but didn't realize how many. Had no idea you got so much less than other kinds of videos either. I just in general thought you made more money off YouTube than you do. After hearing about the issues you're having right now, there was pretty much no hesitation in signing up here. I've watched your videos for at least 3 years now, maybe more (I don't keep track of these things), and it only feels right to support you in a more significant way. I love getting these kinds of videos too, they make me feel more directly connected to the person talking and remind me that you are a person too, not just some creature on the internet that happens to be able to sing.

Kathy

Blessings PelleK.

Sebastián Leija

much love pellek, I've been watching your videos for years and never tought you needed any type of my help, I'm here for you, we are here for you

Vero_is_alive

Hi PelleK, Love your videos for ages but never knew you are Norwegian. Do you know Leo Moracchioli? Also Norwegian, also Metal Covers! Do well, hope your Dad gets fine again

Elizabeth Weaver

Thank you for making this video and I look forward to more of them in the future! You are so awesome and I love your work. I listen to your music pretty much every day, whether it's on YouTube or your original albums. I had to drop down how much I support for your videos since I got a new job that pays much less, but I am looking for a better job now and I hope to be able to give you more soon. Keep up the fantastic work and much love to you and your family. Rock on!

Judeey

Thank you! 😊

David Ramirez

I completely agree with you! You wrote many things that I wanted to say. It's nice to see that I'm not the only one that thinks in the same way you do. Your English is good, I understood everything you wrote :)

Dennis Cruzmenendez

I understand my mom fought cancer twice so, I know it can be expensive and scary. Keep up the good work I, enjoy all the anime metal cover and the Spanish ones too.

Victoria Hammond

Daniel Sisson

Good luck with everything that life is giving you right now, as soon as I saw your 1mil subs video, and saw how hard you work, and how much passion you put into your craft, I knew that you were a guy worth supporting. Good luck in all your endeavors.

Sdac Asche

Gendalus Heine

Hey PelleK, my mom actually survived cancer threes years back so I can kind of understand what you are going through. I wish you and your parents all the best and hope they get better soon. Stay strong. You can do it!

Lourdes Tourn

It makes me happy to see that you're getting support from people worldwide! In this way you'll be able to find better options to help your parents! :D Your voice is amazing and unique and all the work you do behind each cover is just... wow, amazing too. You deserve all of our support and honestly, I didn't know about what was "being a patreon"and all that stuff until now but I'm happy to be finally helping you in this way and also by giving you my support through kind words :) That's all I can do and it makes me so happy! Stay strong and as Erian J. Yuri said above: "Don't you ever dare to loose the passion of making the things you love. That's why we are here, right?" Yes, that's why I'm here :)

Miguel Quijada Moreno

Hey pelleK, as I tryed to say sometimes before, we are the ones to be thankful with who you are and what you do. I think my words is with all of us here when I say maybe is the first time I support someone on patreon, but I cant be more proud of what im doing here. This is just a fact, I enjoy your music, cant afford to visit you in person in Norway (which I would love to), so before I helped turning off adblock, and now that I have a little something to spend, I want it to be on what I enjoy, and If I enjoy your music whenever is the time of the day, and I like your videos however I feel that day, is reason enough to stay here for long :)

Lyubov

Pellek, thank you for what you do! It is really excellent! I listen to your music every day and covers and original songs. Your creativity is what inspires and makes me stronger and happier! Thank you for this! Just keep doing what you like and gives your audience a positive emotion. I wish your parents a speedy recovery and great happiness to you and your family! With love from Russia! (Sorry for my horrible English)

Joe Bellas

Thank you for doing what you do Pellek! I'm praying for you and your parents!

Laura Jolly

Thank you so much for sharing all of this! It will be really nice to know what's going on in your world (however much you want to share), and to know that our dollars make a difference, both in your music and your life. I'm excited for everything to come! I've said it before, but I'll say it again... try not to spread yourself too thin. ;) We love your music, but we care about you getting enough sleep and being sane too!

Katherine Mathiowetz

you TRUE fans will wait for you. They will love everything you do. and you are not a boring person. if I could get you in a place alone I would talk you to death with questions. I wish I could get more and I am ashamed I can't but like you said family first.... one day I will be able to though My three year old loves you! his favorite song is Shatter me. (oh and Jingle bells...lol) Anytime he is being an ass I turn those on and he gets all happy and bouncy again lol

Juan Hernandez

Prayers for you and your family and please continue to do what you do! You're an incredible artist. Love all your covers and original songs

Julia

This was really touching. I'm SO happy that you made that first video a few days ago about this. I believe in you and I genuinely want you to prosper.

Emily Grimes

I love watching your music videos, you're one of the first musicians I started listening to on YouTube. I'm so sorry for what you are going through now, I know it can be tough but just know that we all understand and you deserve to be able to help your family with howmuch you love them!

Fanatta J

I was very touched by that video you uploaded a few days ago, having gone through something similar myself. I have been a supporter for some time, and never been more proud of you. I could see how tough it was for you to put your feelings on display, but it lets us see that you are human too, with real struggles just like the rest of us. I find you incredibly interesting and immensely talented; please continue to make the videos you love, because that's what brought us here. I love your voice and will listen to anything you put out there. Thank you for sharing with us!

Patrick Lin

Stay strong, PelleK! All your viewers are here to support you through everything

Sunny Snell

Thank you for the update! Excited to see what you make in the future and how everything goes for you on a personal level as well.

Rei

I always wondered why you don't have many patrons. But I guess it's just that the others are really active (shamelessly) promoting it and you never really did it, huh? Best of luck. You're amazing.

Thrax

On the topic of your music helping people, I always listen to your songs while I work out, I've even broken some heavy bags off their hooks while listening to your covers, I was able to continue doing rep after rep and set after set because of your songs( especially silhouette( both versions) and Dag for Dag is absolutely magical. When you released that song I was blown away, I thought that if for no other reason then that song, I was glad to have been a patron. You really are amazing, don't sell yourself short. On the medical side, there is a vitamin called b17 which is said to help cure cancer, now the only thing with this is that it HAS to be from Mexico, the ones from there are real, all the ones from the US are fake garbage silly pills. They can be pricey about $100 per month, and in order for them to work the person taking it must stay on it for the rest of their life. But strories of people going into complete remission exist, my mother did extensive research into it and we bought them for my father and he was on them for several months and doctors were amazed at how much better he got, he actually went into remission. But we couldn't afford it because the price kept going up and up and soon was over $100 every month, so he unfortunately had to stop taking them and the cancer came back, he was lucky and beat it a second time though. Another thing is mindset, patients with this( and other things too) regardless of how bad the doctors say it might be, need the absolute most positive outlook and mindset, they need to say "I can beat this" my mother made my father retain a positive outlook and mindset( which usually isn't easy) that helped him too.

Holy crap....sorry for the humongous wall of text, didn't realize how much I had rambled on for.

It's good to see artists support each other like this. :) Thank you for that!

Gregg Smith

Didn't get a chance to finish yet. But holy shit 46% tax rate........

Alyona Nikolaeva

Like I said, thanks for sharing. We had no idea. Now we do. And also now due to that video you’d made you have the idea of how important your music is for us. I owe you that much that I can barely pay it back with $1 a month, but even if it’s all I can do I have to do it. So just please have faith and do what you have to do for now. With all our prayers I hope things will get better for you soon. And I hope someday you will be able to do all the great music you are so good at – the mainstream songs metallizations, power metal covers and originals of course, cause they are all great too. Your versatile talent, your passion and your devotion to what you do make you just AMAZING! It’s hard for you now, but please take care. And rock on!

Adrienn Rigo

Wishing you the best of luck with your music and your family! Hope, they recover soon, so they can enjoy their everyday and you can relax and make more videos for us!:D

Eisebius

I wasn't your patron before, because I didn't think that you really need money and that your life isn't easy. I thought that singing is just a hobby, and hobby doesn't require money. Many people do a lot of things just for themselves in order to relax from the difficult work or to brighten up their day. But now I understand that for you it isn't just a hobby - it is a job, a lifestyle or maybe even a meaning of life? I know how important it is. I would have felt bad if I knew that you couldn't continue singing, because you have no money. So I registered on patreon after I saw your previous video, where you explained, what is happening in your life. Even though I cannot afford the biggest support (don't have a job at the moment), still I would like to feel that I am helping and that I can make situation better.

Andreas Pribitzer-Winner

Even if I didn't like a single Track you made, I would pledge the amount I did, simply because you are a monumental positive force in this world. Before this you never asked once for anything, not even a thank you, but you kept doing it. The amount of time, heart and professionalism invested in your videos and the resulting quality shows how determined you are. You are doing great, and it costs so much courage and honesty to ask for help, especially when publicly exposed as you are, so do not be ashamed for doing it. You always were humble and encouraging, so there is no need for shame. I hope if the situation should get worse - which I hope it won't - you'll really tell us and allow us to help, if the need should arise. I'd rather triple my pledge and save on some "unnecessary" things than see you suffer and worry. You are too good for that.

Andžs Arveds Bērziņš

Thanks Pellek for making this great art of music and being great person!Your music helped me in very dark times.I realy wish you luck and stay strong as always! Greetings from Riga Latvia!:) sorry for my english...

Stacy Thompson

Hey Pellek. I just became a patreon today and I found this. I wanted to let you know the reason I watch your videos. I love your diversity and the content. I fell in love with your stuff since I watched your Soul Eater Resonance video. When I'm not in my best emotional state you're the one that makes me feel so much better. I've been wanting to become a patreon but haven't been able to til today. Today I decided I would use the $4 I would put back for candy(I have a major sweet tooth) every 2 weeks and give it to you. You deserve the money so you can help your mom. (And I saw what happened to your father and my heart goes out to you.) I will stay a Patreon and nothing can ever change my mind. I hope this makes your day like your videos make mine. 😀
