First Fantasies 1.06 (Patreon)

Hello everyone, and happy end-of-year holidays!

Sorry for the delay — I got caught up with a few preparations here and there, but I think I’ve managed to wrap up version 1.06 more or less the way I wanted.

The main storyline is now properly set up so that Kwedge can finally settle his score with Tiffa, while at the same time a side story develops around the growing struggle for influence in Brick Market.Everything will come to a conclusion in version 1.07, allowing us to fully close this chapter.

Here is the spoiler changelog (I think this version has been played enough by now):

Tiffa

If you help Tom during his argument at the diner, you can trigger an event at the Hoetel (which is now open!).

Tiffa can finally go and reclaim her phone. Three events are required to properly trigger its repair (with a pop-up window):

The costume quest is completed

Added a new dialogue with Alice if you talk to her about the flower (this part may still change, as I’m not fully certain about a specific story point yet).

When Tiffa goes to reclaim her phone, several choices are available:

She can refuse to cooperate with Kwedge and punch him (this leads to the end of the current version),

Or she can cooperate — at which point you take control of Kwedge, retrace Tiffa’s steps, and begin influencing how things unfold in Brick Market.

Kwedge

Bikini Quest — Kwedge’s main quest is to find a bikini for Tiffa to try on.To do this, you must convince Beautiful Sis, the gym leader, to give you one by setting her up on a date with Jaquette.

The main difficulty lies in finding the camera to place in the restroom: it’s located behind Cat-Shit, inside the Black Mage costume. You’ll first need to get rid of him to interact with the “eyes.”

You’ll unlock a secret video that reveals interesting background lore about the district.

A mysterious Trucs agent, Thing, appears. You’ll need to examine the Loveless poster on Alice’s screen.

Several choices are available: tell him what you know or lie to him.

He can also help you deal with a particularly annoying receptionist…

In any case, he should easily give you one of his cards — which may prove useful sooner than you think.

Johnny, Tiffa’s childhood friend, now wanders Main Street. He seems to be looking for someone… or perhaps someone is looking for him?

Help the masked shopkeeper get in touch with him and see where these interactions may lead.

A mysterious prostitute has taken over the upper floor of the Hoetel. Investigate her!

Your main quest may eventually intertwine with this side story.

Summary

Added a new branch involving Tom for Tiffa, phone recovery, a new dialogue with Alice, important choices regarding Kwedge, opening of the Hoetel, introduction of Junnie, the beginning of the Trucs side quest in Brick Market, the appearance of Thing, interactions between Kwedge and the masked shopkeeper, the Bikini quest, a collectible video in the costume shop, the ability to bug your apartment to retrieve an incoming video of Tiffa… and probably a few things I forgot.
