IMPORTANT: Inside the downloaded folder is a file with tips for the Alpha build.  Be sure to read this so you have an idea of what to do!

It's been a couple months in the making so I figured a few hours early wouldn't hurt.  Here's the Alpha build of Zombie's Retreat!

Do note that this is the Alpha build; a significant amount of time was spent building maps and building a core set of gameplay mechanics.  I was able to get ~30 minutes of gameplay playing straight through the objectives.  Future updates will be able to focus more on quests and 'bonding' events! ;)

If you find any glitches or typos, be sure to report them here or on the Discord channel (preferred)!

Thank you guys for your patience and support!  With the Alpha done, I look forward to building and growing Zombie's Retreat! =)

wow this is fantastic, it is similar enough to AZL. But does just enough different to be its own thing. With Nergal coming back and finishing up AZL soonish, I cannot wait to see where this goes. Great Job and good luck. A warning that was not in the tips though, the outside zombies in my play-through came back after 3 days, it was nice to see the inside zombies stayed cleared out just like in AZL.

The only complaint one can have against the game is that Leslie does not have a cowboy hat. Nice initial release, looking forwards to more and a deeper game.

Thus far, I've done quite a bit. However, I got trapped in the commisary, and could not escape. Being I never saved the game, and was out of ammunition (Really, only 1 bullet per metal?) I had to close the game. So once I start again, I'll try to do more. There should be a basic hit function. I'm not sure why they didn't kill me either.

you need to upgrade show item easy than befor and respawn item loot everyday not loot one time it gone forever it is game over no game to play.

You didn't have to kill them all, since they're friendly :) (so far) ...and anyway you can outrun them, or go far from their view, so they can't see you and you can just go anywhere on the map. Yeah zombies re-spawn after some fog announcing

..they just wanted to talk to you probably ...next time bring a girl with you and maybe they get distracted and you could escape :) (jk)
