adressing specific criticisms/concerns (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

In the last post, there were some messages that I wanted to write a post about.

I've been seeing people mad/upset about the possibility of NTR content in Zombie's Retreat.  I wanted to clarify some things.

If you don't know what NTR is, I won't explain it, but a quick google search should give you the idea!

Anyways, from the beginning, it's been hinted & later explained that women coming into contact with zombies become helplessly in love with them.  The THREAT of NTR has always been there but canonically, the player prevents this from ever happening.

When I introduced Ann's storyline, I wanted to write about a tragic situation.  Ann & L-001's relationship was originally a very close relationship similar to the main character & Leslie.  Being betrayed by the villain of ZR2 is what caused them to be in their scenario.

However, there seems to be some disagreeing on what exactly is NTR.  The MC can POTENTIALLY find Ann & L-001 being intimate (the Z-choice gives you the option to alter & avoid this scenario).  At this point in the story, the MC has no clue who Ann even is.  I don't define this as NTR.  He has no previous romantic interest/relationship in her.  If anything, Ann's dialogue later suggests that she's falling for the player.  This is reverse NTR or Netori.  However, L-001 doesn't really care either way about the two of them.

To people who are mad at 'sloppy-seconds'.  That, I can't even counter.  It's a hentai game.  Not every character is a virgin damsel in distress.  ZR2 likely won't be that way either.  *shrugs*

Addressing L-001's threat to NTR your entire household.  I want to emphasize that it is yet another THREAT.  I do not plan on following through with it and while this seems obvious to myself, I can understand why players may feel uncertain.  Don't worry.  The main character would risk his life saving them from him.  It won't happen.

I wanted L-001 to be a character that players HATED and I almost feel like I did too good of a job at that, haha.  That scene felt right but I think some took the threat a little too seriously.  Just wanted to clarify.

Last thing.  I want to remind players to be respectful to both myself but more importantly to others on here.  There were some nasty comments and I flat out deleted those comments and banned those users.  I'm not issuing warnings.  If you're harassing others, I don't tolerate that.  Keep it civil.
