What is something you look for in a discord server or makes you feel connected? (why do i feel like a cop/brand ambassador for Wendy's asking this?) I have never run one before but I like the idea of feeling like you have a close community and can share art, weird ideas and jokes in. My patreon is pretty small so maybe we could make it a cozy and welcoming place. Are there specific things you value in a server or digital space?

One or two Events with voice call on a regular weekly schedule (don't nesisarily have to involve a lot of organization or participation from moderators just things for people to gather around), cute emoji, bots to notify you of events, a channel where we all pretend to be rats

I've seen more than once that problems in creator channels quickly escalate if (and when!) there's a surge of patrons and moderation becomes a real burden—maybe ~50% of the time things workout, with the creators dedicating a small slice of time a week and/or can identify good folk for moderation. I just say this to tell ya that it's totally cool if you want to keep this Patreon thing simple! Would be a nice thing for sure.

Oh wow I did not think it took so much work. What kind of problems arise in a server? This is very honest and good advice thank you!

A place where everyone could pretend to be rats would be so fricken cute. Maybe it could be called "free scurry time". Thank you for your advice!
