consider this an extremely early preview of a project that's going to be in indefinite hiatus. I was originally planning on releasing this video this month, but was unable to reach the deadline so I've had to shelf it unti I am more skilled and have the time to dedicate to work on it casually and finish it.

working on this thing simultaneously with everything else I have planned was just too much and was weighing on me mentally, but I also didn't want to leave the people who have financially supported me in the dark with nothing to show for the month I had someone else editing videos for the channel.

so here's what I made in that time, and I don't know if I'll plan on returning to it in the future, but it's still something I'm proud of and the kind of thing I'm able to risk making as a result of your support. much love to you all ❤

What you've made so far for the video was awesome, and on a really interesting topic. But yeah, it's a pretty big topic and making material for JoCat in teacher mode, the DnD party and any other characters (in the 2 minutes there you had the table and Garthlar the coward). That's not even taking into account how animated the characters are and how much work must have gone into them. I am HYPE as heck to see what you have in store for the future bud ♥️💜💚

I enjoy your animation work and your art style. I look forward to whenever you take another stab at this

Wow, that opening was beautiful. Animation and narration-wise. Even if you don't come back to this specific project I hope you do this style of video in the future.

Jo I hope you have an opening to work on this in the future. As a learning Dm and a player that often runs into that phrase a lot, I’d like to see what you have to say about it. Keeping making amazing content!

I really like Jocrap, but I love the video essays where Jocat talks and/or explains something, its really relaxing to listen to and really interesting to watch

I feel like we could always use more Jocat content. I love Jocrap's sarcastic humor, but I also love the more informative/awkward tone of Jocat!

World of Acala

I thought it was going to be a sarcastic piece. I enjoyed it very much. I would definitely watch videos like this from you. Honestly, the animation doesn't have to be too detailed. A series of static drawings like would get the point across as well, since the most important (and most interesting) part is your narration. I was still interested even after the screen went white for 10 seconds.

I enjoyed it as is. I hope you come back to it, or things similar to it, at some point in the future.
