This Controller Tower is print in place, with 4 controller mounts, and two slots for Nintendo Switch controllers. You can use it to store and display almost any controller or headset.

For those of you that want to know what I printed this with: I used marble PLA.

After you print it, the hinges should swing freely, and you'll need to break the smaller hinges free with some pressure. You may notice some stringing inside the smaller hinges, which can be removed with some snips.

I have also included a version that has the base attached (the All-in-one) version) so you can print the whole thing in one go. It's a little less fun because it doesn't have the thread, but it's a more economical print for print sellers.

Looks great!

Question: for those of us who don't have the 256x256 build plates.. would scaling it down to 90% affect it .. the all in one holder

Jeff McGill

Nice design. Love the 'all in one". I will print both versions when a printer frees up. I'm trying the "all in one version" tonight. Bambu didn't like not having supports so I'm playing this one safe. I add some in the critical areas. I will let you guys know something in the morning.

Any chance anyone can print one for me? Can pay for time/mats

Yōkai_San

What infill pattern would you recommend? Also thanks for the design!

Matt Hughes

how many walls would you suggest? thanks

Tristan Dobbs

What infill percentage is everyone using? I have my pattern set to grid and infill at 50%, but I don't know if that matters at all?

Kiko DH

what do you mean rounded? i dont see that? mine is placed on the bed exactly as shown on the image. Is that the correct side or i turn it opposite? edit: also forgot to mention.. my slicer says theres overhangs and suggest enabling supports. do i go without supports regardless?

Robbie Whiplash

I get an error when I try to download the STL.

I’m printing this now on my P1S, I’ll report back when it’s done

David L

Why doesn't this print need supports? I'm curious to know because there some horizontal parts and it's not attached to anything. And can my Ankermake m5c do this?

Peter Dettorre

Printing now on my P1P but after I slice it it says 13hrs while yours says 7hrs. I paused the video to make sure my bambu slicer settings matched yours but for some reason there are a couple on your bambu slicer that are not on mine ( length of sparce infill anchor is not listed anywhere on my bambu slicer) . I adjusted the ones I did have and its now 9hrs. Any chance of going over the slicer settings? thanks!!

Would be cool to embed charging cables. Love the model

Augusto Timm

Hey I really loved this design and is basically the reason for signing up to patreon. I am very new to 3D printing, but wanted to have a third level on this tower can you help me?

Oscar Regueira

Hi! Im having trouble printing the smaller hinges that allow for the inclination degree. Is there a way for you to make those 4 hinges as separate pieces and assemble them after the printing is done?

TurtleTech Creations

I'm not sure how others are able to print as mine as failed several times due to the small parts that hold the controllers being dislodged due to the curved overhang. might be better if it was a boxier design to reduce the overhang. any tips on how to print this model successfully?

Andraeus Hagenbuch

Would this work with a resin printer? I just got one and am curious

Barry Beach

How is the stability, especially with only the top two mounts occupied?

Boulevard

So I printed this as you recommended and I even saw your video. For some reason the middle hinges are not popping out so I can clamp to hang. Do I need to turn off brim? Cos mine is on auto idky

Jasmine Jones

I'm printing this on an Ender 3 and Have to print one piece at a time. Does the tower have to be printed long ways like in the video? My cura is slicing it to print tall which I think is only way for my size bed.

Morgan Doyle

Just printed. 16 hours and one of the controller holder snapped off at the hinge as soon as I tried to move it. The others seem fine. Any ideas what settings I can change if I reprint it?

wes saint

mine brakes or strings im using a babmbu p1p

David Engler

I had to break the smaller hinges free but that's probably an issue on my part. Works great and looks amazing!

Josh

Not sure who needs to hear this but do NOT print on its side. It prints faster but you will never get the supports out of the threading for the base.

Jasmine Jones

I’ve printed twice and came out really good but the side that’s laying down the switch controller holder is loose and can’t hold the controller. Any advice on how to fill the gap to still utilize both switch holders? And tips for printing so I can avoid one size being bigger than the other? I’m on a Bambu a1

Janos Kehl

It printed really good. No supports. Threaded version. The folding mechanism is working. The smaller joint is really stuck on its sides by design - but with a little wiggle here and there it moves perfectly. Just one thing I did - printed the thread at 99% scale. Its such a perfect fit then... :D

Alex Rogers

What speed to do you print on? I have a high speed printer from another brand.

Hard Knock Cards and Games

Anyone else have a problem with the smaller flaps fitting securely into the grooves so that a controller doesn't fall off of the holder?

Camilo Canchon Castillo

Can I print the file vertically? I have an Ender 3 V2, and it doesn't fit horizontally. What do you recommend?

wisam doleh

Hi, I'm having trouble printing the tower portion of this. I followed your settings in the video (using a bambu p1s with ender PLA), it seems like it is stringing while printing the first set of hinges. About 20% into the print it ends up breaking. I am new to 3D printing so I don't really know what the issue is. Is there any advice or tips you can give?

Nicole Skipper

I just joined because I found you on tiktok and just finished this print :( I am pretty new so I may have messed it up somehow lol I have a bambu a1 and the little flaps that you have to push down to hold the thing up (sorry I am HORRIBLE at explaining) sort of broke part of it like pulled filament with it. Not sure how to explain without pictures. I printed the all in one version.

Max Hanscom

been running into some issues trying to print this on the x1 carbon, it gets the first layer down okay then it lifts off the plate

Jasmine Jones

I printed again last night with a glue stick and had no issues (usually lifts within 3 hours of printing) but I am very hit or miss with the switch controller holder. One side always fits but one side is usually lose so it holds one but not both. I’m on the Bambú x1 does someone have printer settings that gives consistent fit for the switch holder? I wanna sell on Etsy but some don’t fit both I was thinking maybe hot glue for cusion on the ones w issues to give a snug fit?
