MajorFarron

That should not reflect childhood Jeanne as she grew up with her family on a farm, which would be hardships of a different kind. Perhaps it has to do with innocence as in her teens she longed to go to war as she said God has willed her too. The infamous hundred year war was ongoing and so generations past had only known war. She would've been older than that kid was portrayed though. I don't remember the year she left for war, but she died in 1431 at the age of 19. That knight with her was Giles as he was a captain assigned to guide her through battle, but became a follower and believer in her as well. And as for the blood on her hands, she might have also killed enemies in battle directly, and I know she was shot with a crossbow bolt and kept going in one engagement. Fate uses legends mainly though so this Ruler Jeanne would reflect the Church's depiction of her from several hundred years after her death which would be the more pious saint. I believe the true version of her would lie in mixing this with the other version of that exists in Fate as both are extremes. This is all information I recall from a book I read years ago though so I may not be entirely correct, it also might depend upon the source.
