Gods on the level of say Buddha, or Jesus (Although I heard they will never make him a Servant), have a very special class known as The Savior Class. All other gods get demoted or have to inhabit a human or some other vessel to become a Servant.

so yeah when this anime first came out people refered to it as "bootylonia" cause theres so many ass shots it gets to the point where it makes you laugh. You pause during a fight and you're getting an ass shot. But besides that, that was in fact Rin, or at least her body. Babylonia introduced something called pseudo-servants (Mash is a demi-servant, so she is basically a human that absorbed a heroic spirit) that inhabit the body of other people, usually, they do this because full-on gods cannot be summoned normally since they are too powerful, so they need a human body to actually be summonable and they just inhabit the body of someone that fits their personality or lifestyle. while the servant doesn't see themselves as the person they are inhabiting, their body heavily influences how they act sometimes. in all honesty, this system exists purely so they can put in old characters from other Fate stuff into fgo and have them be summonable lmao.

That Fate hack and slash already exist, its called fate/samurai remnant, doesnt play like a tales of game but its play like a rpg dynasty warriors game (made by the same company) came out like 3 years ago and its pretty good.

Ok, so a few things: Chaldea is fighting to prevent/undo the "Incineration of Humanity". Basically, the Mage-King Solomon, a biblical figure, sent 7 grails into the past so that they would fall into the hands of individuals who would cause such a disruption to the time they were in that the flow of history would be corrupted and he could burn humanity away. They show these rings in the sky at a few points, and that is the mass of energy that ends up burning humanity in every point of time, they mention that the energy those rings have is equivalent to 1 million Excaliburs. Lev, the demon sharp toothed looking guy who blew up Chaldea, is a subject of Solomon. As for Mash's Noble Phantasm, after she found out that the Heroic Spirit inside her is Galahad, a knight of the Round Table, her NP transformed/upgraded into being able to summon the unbreakable walls of Camelot itself. That's what happened at the end of the last movie. Also, I think you mentioned that DaVinci's form looked familiar so I don't know if you caught on, but he actually took on the form of his masterpiece, the Mona Lisa, as he values beauty of the human form and it is "ideal" to him/her. Gods are too powerful to be summoned as servants, so they merge with a human body and that forces their power to be limited to the point that they can be summoned. Even with these limitations, they are still stronger than the vast majority of servants and are classified as "Divine Spirits". You've seen three so far, Lancer Artoria, Enkidu and the goddess possessing Rin. And yeah, the sound design in this show is absolute peak

The Mage King Solomon is the Big Bad of Grand Order. He accomplished the Incineration of Humanity by sending a Holy Grail to 7 specific points in time that were pivotal for human history. These caused massive historical anomalies (Singularities) that disrupted the timeline, severing the past from the future. By severing the timeline, Solomon essentially burned away 3,000 years of human history. This cause the extinction of humanity in 2016. And because the future was gone, Chaldea's primary mission was to time travel into each of these seven time periods, track down the Holy Grail causing the distortion, defeat the "Singularity King" holding it, and restore the proper timeline. It wasn't until the end of Singularity 4 (London) that Solomon finally showed up in person. He easily overpowered the team, casually declared that all seven Singularities were already completed rituals, and revealed that the energy from human history had already been gathered. He then left, mockingly telling Chaldea they could keep collecting the Grails because it wouldn't change their ultimate doom. Thats the gist of it
