2024 recap (Patreon)

As we're getting close to the end of the year I reflected on 2024 photography wise and thought it would be fun to share with you 1 photo of each individual shoot I did this year.

Some shoots weren't shared on here since I do not have the permission of those individuals to post their faces on Patreon. And obviously I respect those wishes.

Starting off with the Peter Coulson workshop at the very beginning of this year. I flew out to Melbourne Australia to participate in the "a week with Peter Coulson" workshop. 5 day photography bootcamp that has helped me tremendously to improve my photography. Worked with some of the best models and learned from one of my biggest examples in the industry. Good start of the year I would say.

Then I did a shoot with Annelies. A face you'll see multiple times because right after our first shoot we hit it off and we planned shoot after shoot ever since. We would've shot for the 5th time this year but unfortunately that didn't go as planned and we had to reschedule into the next year. But definitely one of my favorite persons to shoot with.

Also Anonymuse came by the studio again for a second shoot. We experimented with a sheer curtain and some different lighting set ups to make it a bit more mysterious and highlight the most beautiful parts of the body.

It was a first time with Beau for this year. I hadn't seen of heard about her right until I noticed she was collaborating with all kinds off photographers and soon enough she messaged me as well. I didn't hesitate to invite her to the studio and I really enjoyed working with her. So much even that we planned our next shoot already. So stay tuned for that one soon!

Also Bo couldn't be left out for this year. Probably one of my most inspiring model I have worked with. Really would love to shoot more often with her, but circumstances and distance make it quite hard to plan anything. We had some REALLY exciting ideas, so maybe I am able to show you next year...

Then we have Flore, also another first timer for me. Obviously not a newcomer to the industry, she is well experienced and captured by many already. Loved her facial expressions and she is an amazing person. I was glad to shoot with her and will shoot with her again if I get the chance.

Another Annelies photo comes after Flore. We did this shoot together with Flore. But since I don't like duo shots I shot them individually although we were with the 3 of us.

Julia... Probably the most inspiring model this year for me. When I heard she was staying at my dear photographer friend Ron's house I didn't hesitate to ask if I could shoot with her and sure enough she agreed. Really hope to work with her again as she is obviously stunning but also very professional which makes my life as a photographer a whole lot easier sometimes. Absolute joy to work with!

Also Lisa was a first this year. She reached out to me because she wanted some classy but sensual shots of herself and thought my style fit her wishes. So we did. Eventhough she had absolutely no experience with modeling she felt comfortable and let me guide her through this shoot. She had a wonderful experience and the photos speak for themselves. She planned another shoot for next year.

Luka was a new face for 2024 as well. The shoot went really well even though I had some troubles with my strobes sometimes. Luckily I have brand new strobes now so Luka booked another shoot for the beginning of next year! Im glad to have her again.

Marusia is a beauty from Italy. With half Russian and half Italian roots she brings unique features to the table. We did a shoot while she was traveling to The Netherlands as you might've read already in the post of Marusia here on Patreon. ;)

Polina was another traveling model I was able to work with. She is a beautiful natural up and coming model from Ukraine. She was a very cheerful person and was able to give me a big variety of poses and looks. Our styles were very well aligned which caused for a very smooth shoot. We are going to work again next year, just when is still uncertain at this point. Polina is also going to be the next post on Patreon, so be on the lookout for that one cause you don't wanna miss out on that!

It is always a pleasure to shoot with a dear friend. Robin was kind enough to model for me again. As she was the first person ever to model for me it was fun to show her how far I have gotten since our very first shoot. She is always a bit camera shy so I really need to distract her and just click away while talking to her. Nonetheless we always get some great photos as a result.

It was a year with a lot of firsts.. I realize now. Vanna is also a new face to the portfolio. Not unknown as she also does work for Playboy, but with me she wanted to diverse her portfolio and shoot some full bodies and headshot portraits with me. Somehow the shoot didn't really go as I hoped and I hope she will be back again to get some great results next time.

Closing it off with another familiar face. She's seen on Patreon as well in previous posts; Xena. I decided on a mood board that was outside and kind of sneaky. We went to a public park and Xena wasn't really afraid to get caught nude so she just went for it. The bravery still amazes me and it was obviously very exciting cause we had to be cautious no one would see her that way. It worked out great, we shot for about 2-2,5 hours and I think nobody saw us...

That was it for 2024! Unfortunately I had 3 more cancelations in these last few weeks of the year. But since this was the last post of 2024 I wanted to do something special for you guys. I have a lot more waiting to post for next year so there is content enough coming your way. Spoiler alert: Not just Polina, but I got the green light from Annelies as well to post our not so instagram worthy photos. So make sure you'll be there when they get posted!
