Hi, Huth here, breaking the eerie silence with the long-promised post about Mandrakes.

It’s been a complicated few months for us at the (virtual) In Places Deep studios; Miranda has started a new job but getting acclimated to it has sapped a lot of her creative energy, and I’ve been dealing with a family crisis (which you might know about from my socials) that’s been dragging on for far longer than anyone expected it to.

Today’s monster post about Mandrakes is the first of a short series of posts we’ll be doing over the next few months presenting a smaller dungeon in the Dark Country, the Rumplefort. These will probably be followed up by other small or medium-sized dungeons and monsters (and the like) from the wilderness of the Dark Country, Cuccagna (which Miranda runs on Tuesdays), or elsewhere in the World of Nightwick.

We hope you’ll enjoy them. Please let us know if you do, and what kind of posts you’d like to see more of in the future, as well.
