Bonny and Bart Comic + draft sheet (Patreon)

I did this comic inspired by the interactions between Bonny and Bart, my new kitten. Bonny is 8 and has been a single cat for a long time, but she's friendly with the other cats in the street so I figured she'd be okay with a new friend eventually. She is quite lethargic when it comes to her dislike of him, just sort of hissing lazily at him when he gets too close to her but even that is happening less and less as the days pass. She's quite happy to be around him as long as he stays about a foot away but she spent the first few days making this incredibly grumpy face after he entered her home. Bart is determined to be her friend though and no matter how many time she bats him away he keeps trying to play with her; he ran up to her and booped her just like this and Bonny was so confused that she forgot she was supposed to hate him for about a minute afterwards. His innocence will win the day, I'm sure of it!

It was surprisingly hard to make nice looking cute cat characters, in the end I kinda stole the Powerpuff girls look for them both. I like 90s cartoons, I think I made them my own enough that it's inspiration rather than plagiarism :3

Anyway, i may do more comics about my cats, they're both the only creatures I encounter regularly so why not use them for inspiration. Their hijinks certainly cheer me up
