Testing out a new base model (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

I decided to test out a new model (Anima) and at the same time try out ComfyUI (I've been on automatic so far.) spending unhealthy amount of time (also not sleeping for 40 hours twice lol). And oh boy, while ComfyUI is easier to install and update, it has no UI to work with, so you need to make it yourself using basic nodes from the program and mostly from custom nodes other people. Learning is definitely harder, so good thing I already know a lot. I managed to set a lot up already, and even had to program some functionality myself (I can't believe one functionality I always use seems to be non existent in the community.), but there's still more to do, so I'll play around with it and in the end decide if I wanna continue with it or no.

When it comes to the new base mode itself, quality-wise it's more or less the same; however it can understand sentences to some degree and makes less mistakes. Therefore it allows to be even more creative and consistent. One problem I have with it it does not recognize style prompt I was using before, so I cannot replicate my old style and need to create a new one. It can take a lot of time to find out your preferred style, so I'm experimenting to get as close to it as possible and with time more community support will be available, which means once I discover new way that works better, the style will change. Though I already tested a lot past days and the best results will be presented to you in other posts once I prepare them.

Once I establish my workflows, I'll also want to see how far I can go now with making content with multiple characters. I want to create some story comics and it looks like it'll be possible. :) All this takes time, so thank you for your patience ♥

Waifu Stars will remain being done on Illustrious model, at least until I'll be comfortable to move on, as some characters I would not be able to do now with Anima and I cannot replicate the style for now. It took over 2 years for a new better model to show up and less than 1 before that (and 0.5y before). I wonder if the wait for new models will continue to be exponentially longer, we'll have to wait and see.
