!!Repository!! (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

There will be changes to how you access future rewards. I've acquired MEGA storage and plan to post the rewards there while here I'll notify you with same normal posts when new content drops. I plan to post both link to the main repository in a separate post and the corresponding new content in each post (may expire after some time, while the big repo will be kept updated) to make it more convenient for active members. There are two main reasons for that.

Firstly I've been wanting to try it out for a long time. When a lot of content piles up over the months and years, it becomes a headache to access it via Patreon. Some people even left just for that reason. A lot of other creators use it and it's helpful especially for new or returning members. MEGA is stable, I was using it since early days it was founded and never found a better storing service, that's why I chose it.

Secondly it's about security. Recently thanks to AI and automation it became easier for normal people to copy others work and post it for free, easy to access in almost real time. They use automated scripts to copy almost everyone's content from Patreon and other popular creator sites and can afford it thanks to the high volume of visitors and ads they put on their website. We can argue how bad or good it is for hours, but the consensus is that it's bad for the creators, both big and small ones are affected. It wouldn't be that bad if only the poorest people accessed it, but the world is not so nice and simple, even rich people can get addicted to free stuff and not pay. Imagine if you worked hard to make something for a long time, are selling it (or giving away for free or low price) with no ads, and then someone comes, copies everything and giving it for free, but with ad billboards all over the place making them $. Sure, you can use adblock, but enough people don't to make it profitable enough for them to continue. I'm sure there are many opinions depending on your own experiences in life, but just wanted to give you my point of view. Unfortunately Patreon does not protect the content well enough. I can only guess the reason for that is probably priority over smooth service rather than making it more secure, but less enjoyable for the average user. Maybe in the future they'll figure something out, so we don't have to. After some searching I found more people are getting frustrated and some even reported good results fighting it. So I decided to join them and give it a try, I like challenges anyway, so at least gonna have some fun. Fortunately there are some solutions, some worse, some better, but I'll try the least invasive ones with the least extra steps for you. The instructions will be given in dedicated posts. In case it doesn't give effect or they patch it, I'll still have a few other backup lines of defence. Some people choose to do nothing, and I did ignore it too so far, but now want to experience what happens if I fight it ⚔️. Also I like to think about it as protecting you that give away your contribution too and not just all the work I put into it, even though some of you may not care.

I'll be sharing some of my transfer data with you, so you do not have to use yours until mine runs out, so please do not share the links. The links and or passwords will also be changed periodically. If it will work poorly or Patreon implements some stricter measures we may change things in the future. Congratulations if you read through all this, it's a complicated topic and I could write way more, but it's already too long. ^^ Hopefully it won't impact you negatively. Maybe even some of you will see it as a positive change. :)

Thank you for understanding and your continuous support, we continue to grow in numbers and that keeps me going. I hope I can realize my unrealized ideas and goals, and create even better content in the future ♥
