Over the past couple of weeks I've been refining the dialogue for the next page, and having trouble making it all fit. It might be better to split it into two pages, but I don't want it to be two pages. One, done, moving on, you know?

The weird part for me, is I'd had a clear idea of everything I needed to draw, before I started focusing on the dialogue. Once I'd taken a second look at my script, though, and worried about how it would all fit, I used existing art to lay out the page, instead of properly thumbnailing it. And while I was making the words fit, those clear ideas of what I'd needed to draw... faded. Or worse, the visuals I'd planned for one or two panels would no longer match what is being said, because the tone of the discussion shifts within that panel.

The other day, the poses started to come back to me, and I made sure to scribble them this time.

One other thing that'd gotten in the way, is that recently I've started taking slightly better care of myself. I'd bought a bicycle over a month ago, and quickly realized how out of shape I was. But I've stuck with it, and it's gotten easier. At first I would do a few miles, but had to stop for a break half-way. Now I'm doing over 13 miles without stopping, and I don't hate myself during, after, or for the rest of the day.

Did something happen to the site that the comic was originally on?

It got hacked last year. I thought I'd fixed it, only to find out all of the image links were broken. Since then I've ditched the ComicPress plugin, since it's no longer supported, and started converting everything to normal blog posts. One more thing on my to-do list.

I appreciate that! Still, I do like to keep everyone in the loop.
