Sweet Chastity updated! (Patreon)

While I'd already made the entire run of Penthouse's Sweet Chastity available, it wasn't quite as complete as I would have liked. My goal for this project was to get & provide the highest-quality scans, but there was one chapter that was out of my reach. For reasons that have nothing to do with the comic, the issue containing that chapter was deemed illegal. That doesn't stop people from trying to sell it, even listing the illegal parts as a selling point... I suspect it's a sting operation.

A while back, I'd managed to find low-quality scans of that comic chapter. They were roughly a third of the resolution that I've been saving my scans at, but that would have to be enough. Low-quality is better than nothing, and certainly better than risking jail time.

Still, the quality of those pages bugged me. I thought that, perhaps if I could find a copy of that issue that'd had the illegal pages removed, it would be alright? Pages missing from old magazines is a common thing, and many sellers do make a not of it, if they're aware.

As luck would have it, I wouldn't have to wait very long. A listing popped up for a copy that was missing pages, but I needed to be sure which pages. Unfortunately, the seller would only confirm that some pages "appeared" to be missing, and that the comic was intact. Without knowing for sure, I wasn't going to risk it.

Days later, the seller reached out - eBay had deleted his listing, so he wanted to know if I was still interested. Seeing an opportunity, I told him exactly why the listing was deleted. Then I offered to buy just the comic pages, for the price he wanted for the full issue. The deal was struck, I waited anxiously, but that anxiety paid off - those pages are now scanned, uploaded, and gorgeous! Now, the set is truly complete!
