As much as I want to be done with this chapter, I can't just end it with Gretchen getting punched in the face. Better to take things down a little, and try to go out with a laugh, I think.

Like so much of this chapter, this part wasn't part of the plan at any point. It was just an amusing thought that'd popped into my head recently, to try to stay interested. That's been a problem with this chapter for the past 2-3 years, though, but at least this one will finally cap things off.

For the next chapter, I'm going to need to make sure the entire thing is fully laid out before I start fully drawing any panels. It'll also be nice if a contract doesn't derail the whole thing, but with the current state of the game industry, I don't think that will be a problem...

The next chapter will also be a bit of a learning experience, because I intend to switch from Adobe Illustrator to Clip Studio Paint. More and more, Illustrator has just felt like more of an anti-art program, like everything about it is designed to get in your way, frustrate the hell out of you, and make finishing anything about as fun as having teeth pulled.
