Lately I've made a spreadsheet to help keep track of my ideas, because nothing else seems to have worked so far. Keep it all in my head certainly hasn't worked.

First and foremost, I've got one image that I hope to have inked & colored in time for Christmas, and then on the 28th I'll be heading out of town for a couple of weeks. I should use those two weeks to work on my animation reel, and try to come up with a concrete plan for the next year. 2025 was a nightmare, and the number of potential things to work on became overwhelming, at times...

Having everything laid out like this is a bit... sobering. The "Hairy Beast" comic is something that's been put off since 2021. This year, I was in no shape to get it done in time for Halloween, but figured April 1st should be enough time. And if I'd been working on it this whole time, maybe it would be. But I haven't worked on it at all, and now the odds of having the full thing ready in time are looking increasingly unlikely. It might be better to push it back again to next Halloween, and work on it in the background throughout the next year.

In the meantime, there are some shorter comics I'd like to hammer out before resuming Daisy's long weekend. And then there's the question of just how much of that long weekend will make the final cut. If I can average one (published) page per month, along with a pinup or two, then I may make some progress. Some of the really fun comic ideas will still be so, so far away, though...

Why not skip to whatever point you want to do. Then you could retrace back and connect the scenarios in a “oh that’s how that happened” fashion

One concern is readability, at least on my comic site. While comics can be organized into chapters, I'm not sure what takes priority when reading page by page - the chapter, or the date each page was posted.

I can understand that. When I have multiple projects I just do what I feel like should take priority then switch to whatever I have motivation for. Can’t say this works for everyone though…
