Progress Update!

There are only so many hours of quiet in a house with two toddlers, but the inks & flat colors for the rest of the characters are done! Now shading it could be a challenge, because I feel like that part of my brain has switched off.

I was hoping to have made more progress on this by now, but have found myself increasingly incapable and unfocused, lately. Having a sort of deadline creep up on me hasn't helped - Tonight I'm heading up to Michigan for the summer, and it may be a week before I'm able to resume work on this.

May 5th will mark one year since my niece's passing. There's going to be a family gathering to celebrate her life, which... Personally I would have picked a different day. I just imagine emotions are going to be a bit raw on the anniversary.
