This is it - the last major piece of my core rigging script is in place!!  Now apart from rigging her toes, all that's left is clean-up!

The timing could be perfect.  Some time in the next few days, I should be starting on my new contract, which means I'll need to push my personal 3D work aside for a month or two.  My fear has been that if I got pulled away from these scripts before they're more-or-less complete, then I wouldn't know where I'd left off once I got back to them.  With the major stuff out of the way, and assuming my notes are thorough enough, this shouldn't be much of a problem.

And as long as I'm taking a break from coding, hopefully I can finally get the next comic chapter drawn.  It's just a tad overdue.

Congratulations! so i'm guessing you'll pick up your rig again some time around August/September?

For now that's the plan. A lot of the remaining core stuff is really minor, so I could still work on those in the meantime, if I don't get them done before the contract. Then I can resume editing Daisy's skin weights, and start scripting her face and breast rigs. Of course, I'll also need to figure out HOW to rig her face, if I'm using joints instead of morphs... Regardless, I could use a break from it for now.

Programming and scripting are great ways to go insane if you don't step away once in a while. Enjoy the down time :)
