“How long have I been in control, toy?” Your hypnotist asks, their eyes filled with a controlling gleam.

You shrug, nonchalantly. “I don’t know that you’re in control right now.” You reply.

They pause, still meeting your gaze. And then they say. “Oh, yeah? Are you sure?”

They take a step closer to you. You back up, matching their energy, smiling. As they speak to you. “How long would it take for that certainty to begin to crumble? For that willpower to wither away?” Another step. Your back hits the wall. They lean over you, imperious.

“Because there’s one question you need to ask. It’s not if, or when will I gain control. No. It’s much too late for that, isn’t it?” A small part of your mind wants to just nod, and agree. But you quash it. You want to see where they go. “The question you have to ask is this.”

They’re in their flow. You know that they’re going to take control. You smirk up at them, as they take a small pause, and their eyes meet yours with a gaze that says one thing. They know what you’re doing. And they’re more than happy to play. “How long have I been in control?”

There it is. The energy you were looking for. “Because we both know you love to play pretend, be a little bratty. You egg me on, you tease me.” They say. You nod, still smirking, until their hand gently touches your chin. “But then I tell you to look me in the eyes.”

Your eyes meet theirs, automatically. “I tell you to stop thinking, and your mind stumbles.” You were suddenly very aware of how hard it was to think. “Your mind obeys me. Because it wants to. I’ve made sure that your mind understands that when it obeys me, it feels good.”

The feelings of powerlessness you were feeling were perfect, in this moment. “So, I’m going to ask you again, even though I think by this point you might struggle to give me an answer.” You held their gaze, your eyelids already fluttering. “How long have I been in control, toy?”
