Your partner has spent some time creating a space for you, but they've kept quiet about the details. Now you get shown their work.

Your partner lead you into the dark room, and, having closed the door behind you, guided you by the hand. They sat you down in a soft armchair, and then stepped away. “Now, I expect you’re wondering what I’ve got planned for you, right, pet?” They said.
“Yeah. Is this going to be some sort of sensory deprivation thing?” You asked.
They laughed. “That’s not quite what I head in mind. Could you just look straight ahead for me?” Their voice was behind you, they were stood, looking over you.
As you looked ahead, you felt yourself becoming aware of the room a little more. Almost like there was light, but the room had been pitch black earlier. But there was light. You were sure of it. It was moving in a pattern. The light grew brighter. The pattern stronger.
It was rippling across the wall before you. From all around the room. Rippling in to a central point. Moving again. And again. And again. Pulsing inwards, growing brighter. Lights spinning. Spiralling. “Just watch, pet. Just watch. Is it making your head spin?”
You tried to speak but your thoughts were in sudden disarray. “Umm…” You couldn’t find the words. You couldn’t think. The spiralling lights rippled across the room. Rippled across your mind.
“Shhh… You don’t need to speak. You don’t need to think. Just watch, and drift.”
Their hands were on either side of your head. Holding your view forwards, as the lights continued to pulse. You could see it more clearly now, the pulsing, rippling pattern, a spiral of lights that spun towards a central point. Pulling your attention, your thoughts with it.
“That’s it. This whole room is designed to pull you deeper into my control. Deeper into my power. Each movement of light just making you sink deeper, and deeper. Let your thoughts go, pet. I’ve got you. Sink into the chair, sink into mindlessness. Let the lights carry you away.”
Your mouth was hanging open. Your thoughts were gone, your body was limp. But you kept staring, as the spiralling lights kept on wrapping around your mind, pulling you deeper. “I’ve got your mind in my hands, pet. all wrapped up in lights. It feels so good, doesn’t it?”
